Wandering around Metro City Phase II shopping mall, I have difficulties in choosing a restaurant to go for. It is 12:30pm, the peak lunch time during weekend. Many people are crowded in the entrance of most restaurants. I pass by Maccha House. The first image comes to my mind is their various options of yummy ice cream deserts! But... it is a freezing day (only 10 degree Celsius)!! It really drives me away from this restaurant. I think most of the people in the mall has the same feeling as me. T

I pass by Maccha House. The first image comes to my mind is their various options of yummy ice cream deserts! But... it is a freezing day (only 10 degree Celsius)!! It really drives me away from this restaurant. I think most of the people in the mall has the same feeling as me. There is no one waiting, and several empty tables are there. Big contrast to the hotpot restauarnt nearby.

I had a second look on their menu and I find Japanese rumen in hot soup. Hooray!! I immediately go in with my empty stomach.

I ordered Black sesame oil tonkotsu ramen special. Very quickly, they come the ramen with 3 pieces of seaweed, 4 pieces of pork and the very nice egg. The pork has be barbecued as usual. The soup taste is just right and not too salty. My favourite part is the egg where it's egg yolk blends nicely with the taste of soup.

Great! After the rumen, stomach is full and I feel warm. I think this is the best option in this restaurant during winter time.
