Yum cha with the family. Was quite put off when we arrived cos of the low wooden ceiling, the table behind us was making a racket, and their noises kept echoing in my ears. The manager was friendly, said the chef was hired from some Macau Michelin restaurant. He highly recommended the freshly caught 油浸筍殼魚。Not normally a fan of 蝦餃, but this was definitely one of the best I’ve tasted. He highly recommended the freshly caught 油浸筍殼魚。Not normally a fan of 蝦餃, but this was definitely one of the best I’ve tasted. The meat was soft and 彈口。Also ordered the 燒賣，馬拉糕，芝麻卷 and 煎堆 (my brother’s favorite)。Everything was good. 馬拉糕 was spongy, sweetness level was just right. The 筍殼魚 was as good as the manager claimed to be: meaty and crispy. We finished everything.
