As far as I know, there are 2 Swiss restaurants in the TST area, and the Swiss Chalet is by far the better of the 2- in terms of food and unpretentious atmosphere. Swiss owner Max also adds a touch of authenticity. Every time I come I would go for the raclette as the main. Every plate of raclette comes piping hot, and I have to be careful not to burn my mouth. My brother would order at least 2 bowls of barley soup (very rich). My dad’s favorite is the sliced Veal in mushroom sauce (too rich for me) with hash brown (very light and crispy). My mum’s favorite is the breaded veal. The breaded veal is always nicely done, light and not oily at all. To finish it all off, we would share a chocolate fondue dipped with fruits. 😋 (Not a fan of the bread tho).
