We ordered the tea set which amounted to over 370+ MOP (Weekend price) but when we attempted to pay with a HKD1000 bill, we were declined by the store manager Gigi. She insisted that the store (Oh yes, this is an international food brand we are talking about here) did not have change, even though we had explicitly mentioned that we were willing to accept change in MOP. Considering that most items on the menu easily amount to nearly a 100MOP, it is hard to believe that they do not have sufficient
This sealed the deal for us because we already had an unpleasant experience of
1. Helping ourselves to be seated
2. Helping ourselves to the menus
3. Being explicitly sent back to our seats when we attempted to place our orders at the cashier because ‘we can take your orders from your seats’
