When we arrived, I noticed the beautiful floor to ceiling windows, which showed an amazing view of the harbour. Although it was a little foggy that day, I was still pleased with the view.I chose the brunch without the free flow champagne, but a lot of diners had chosen that option. It started with some edamame which was soso. Then came the bread, which was quite good, there was an olive bread and also some assorted rolls. After this, we got some starters, such as sushi (which I didn't eat), lamb
After this, we got some starters, such as sushi (which I didn't eat), lamb pasta (which I also didn't eat and finally a ravioli with carrot puree. This was extremely delicious and I really enjoyed it. The ravioli was cooked perfectly and the carrot puree was smooth and provided some sweetness to balance with the cheese. There was also a cold udon which was also really good. The udon was nice and chewy, with bits of tofu on top.
For my main course, I got the tempura. It was good but not outstanding, after all its tempura, how bad could it be? The dessert was the best. I think the photo speaks for itself! Everything in the dessert platter was really delicious. The tangerine (?) sorbet was icy and tangy, perfectly balanced with the sweet creme brulee, vanilla ice cream and the flavourful tiramisu. It was quite expensive but the starters, pasta and bread were all free flow so I think I got my moneys worth!
