// 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙪𝙭𝙪𝙧𝙮 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙬𝙞𝙛𝙩 - 𝙒𝙖𝙩𝙨𝙤𝙣’𝙨 𝙒𝙞𝙣𝙚 🍷 //-Famed for being a collection of art and storytelling that comes to life in one-of-a-kind labels and wine styles, 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐰𝐢𝐟𝐭 is a winery led by the legendary winemaker Dave Phinney, well-known for its imaginative and evocative expression of art on the front of the bottle as it is the bold, yet finessed styling within the bottle.-Orin Swift wines offer unique, incomparable storytelling behind every bottle, providing a non-traditional offering in the historically traditional luxury wine segment. Dave and his winemaking team are dedicated to expressing geographic diversity in their sourcing, creating wine blends from a range of California’s premier sites – predominantly Napa Valley; and here’re some of our favorites!-☞ 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐨Inspired by a National Geographic photo of a mummified priest, the label was created to inspire power, dignity, and reverence to match the Napa Cabernet inside the bottle. The 2020 Palermo sits in the glass with a dark mauve and crimson red rim, extruding Bordeaux-style of ripe cassis, blackberry, and assorted blue fruits with a touch of chaparral on the nose; with notes of blackberry pie and black cherry on the palate.-☞ 𝐏𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐧A beautiful tribute to the relationship between Dave Phinney and his daughter, with a delicate butterfly (Papillon in French) hidden on the bottom of the bottom. The 2019 Papillon extrudes powerful notes of blackberry and coastal sagebrush; exquisitely balanced and with an imagined sweetness; closes with ripe but firm tannin and a mild drying character.-☞ 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧The Mannequin 2019 opens with opulent aromas of ripe golden apple, concentrated jasmine, and citrus notes; along with rich honeydew, green apple, and a touch of cream on the palate; complemented with a seamless silk-like quality, and finishing with a pleasing minerality.-☞ 𝟖 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐈𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐭The 2021 Eight Years in the Desert opens with aromas of wild blackberry, pepper, oatmeal raisin cookie, and spices. The entry is broad and opulent with a mid-palate of brambly raspberry, black cherry, ripe blueberry, and a hint of cacao. The wine has superb length through the finish with ripe tannins and a close of sweet oak.-☞ 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝟏𝟗Embellished with a rare Mercury dime, the 2019 Mercury Head has a decent aroma of redcurrant, fresh thyme, and sandalwood; the palate expresses blackberry and raspberry along with a touch of toffee with some black tea and licorice accents; finished with a hint of chocolate covered espresso bean and ultra-soft tannins.-ᴍᴇ-ᴊᴀᴅ-ǫᴘᴡɪ-ғʀ-sᴄɴ 继续阅读

我身邊呢兩枝來自西澳嘅靚仔(葡萄酒)喇!! 🍷🍷 西澳係澳洲最大嘅州,其酒款總產量卻僅佔全澳洲約3%。儘管如此,西澳出產咗全國 20 % 嘅premium wine,作為澳洲「優質葡萄酒出產地」,當之無愧。👍🏻👍🏻🍷Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Shiraz 2013 💰$288📝James Halliday 91 pointsFrankland Estate座落於西澳嘅Frankland River,當地有著全澳洲最清涼嘅氣候,其Shiraz尤其出色。而Frankland Estate一直致力釀造出能反映自然風土特色的葡萄酒,早在2009年就獲得澳洲政府嘅有機認證, 2021年更進一步獲得The Real Review澳洲頂級酒莊榮譽。呢支出自其Isolation Ridge Vineyard單一葡萄園系列嘅Shiraz,所用嘅葡萄正正就係以有機方式種植。Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Shiraz 2013有著中等酒體,帶有黑莓、李子等果香,曾於法國橡木桶陳釀嘅佢,亦伴隨一絲絲辛辣味道,展現出複雜嘅風土特色。入口時仲會感受到幼滑嘅單寧,不論您係想一嚐cool-climate Shiraz嘅風味,定係想中秋節開番支配肉類食物暢飲,都非常適合!🍷Vasse Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay 2020 💰$598📝Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate 97 points📝James Suckling 97 points喺西澳八個葡萄酒產區之中,最出名嘅非瑪格麗特河 Margaret River莫屬。當地嘅海洋性氣候令Chardonnay帶天然嘅高酸度,酒體中等至飽滿,有濃郁嘅李子、桃子同杏子等果香,味道芳香清新,唔少酒莊亦會以木桶陳釀白酒,令口感更具複雜度。Vasse Felix就係區內第一批酒莊,於1967年開始種植葡萄,從此引領Margaret River向更高品質前進。Vasse Felix現時由Virginia Willcock帶領,佢曾4次獲頒「年度釀酒師」,實力可見一斑。呢支Heytesbury Chardonnay 2020係Vasse Felix嘅旗艦白酒,喺香港非常熱賣。其葡萄全採自多塊獨特而質素極佳嘅葡萄田,加上酒莊創新釀酒技藝,帶來口味成熟、特別「Heytesbury」嘅風格,係一款與眾不同、精緻且罕有嘅佳釀。 继续阅读

屈臣氏醇酒坊, 是某次行過德己立街間老屈酒窖, 看見有個 Bar 仔. 售賣機有幾支紅酒. Watson's, 連酒吧都做埋. 今日, 去澳門賽馬會食完 Father Day lunch. 老爸老媽自行拍拖去, 姐陪著阿姨兩夫婦, 嫂去了裝修. 得返我同兄長二人. 行了行ifc, 逛完 bookshop, 他說他剛買了 Watson 張 charge card, 就帶我來這個小小試酒酒吧, 又來上寶貴的一課.他們的Wine tasting menu, 一個月換一次. 份量分25cl, 75cl, 150cl, 要叫一支都得. 價錢問題姐. 地方不錯, 人少少又靜. 人客大多是為了試試酒, 或坐係度同store manager 吹水等老婆行完街.完全self service, 只要張 charge card 有 credit, 就可以插咭入去個 machine 度, 按下想要的指定份量. 拿著酒杯, 對準出酒口. 一杯美酒就在手中.今次每人兩杯, 試了四種酒. 首先, 我試了一杯 75cl既 La Nerthe Cuvee des Cadettes CDP 2004. 是法國南部, Rhone 的產品. 我酒齡淺, 喜歡一些比較 Full bodies, after taste 重少少既紅酒. 這個是由兄長介紹, 有果香味, 而且味道濃烈, 正合我心意.兄長喜歡意大利酒, 他亦說, 飲得多紅酒, 你會發覺, 淡味的紅酒, 另有其好飲之處, 他要的是 Poggio Tesoro W Dedicato A Walter IGT 2005. 比較薄身. 酒色較清. 是一種比較易入口的美酒. 若配著 Blue Cheese, 淡味既酒同芝士, 會有一個好好既 catalyst 作用. 呢個係上次係 classified the cheese roome 體驗到的.然後, 我們看看Wine Cellar, 正在promote 意大利酒. 哥說, 待會再選吧, 我們來多一round.這一round, 我想試試白酒, 哥說給我試試甜的Riesling Spatlese. 便選了一杯, keller Kirch. West. Riesling Spatlese Gold 2007. 甜酒是近來才流行返既酒, 而且一向都是德國既比較出色. 我本人就喜歡配上海鮮來吃. 若是全海鮮宴, Riesling 最啱我. 哥繼續要紅酒, 呢杯是 Pinor Nior. 紐西蘭 Marlborough 的出品, Dog Point Pinoit Noir 2006. 聞一聞, 好香 Oak 味. 是一個比較 Fruity 的紅酒. 感覺上配上肉食, 牛羊扒, 更是一流. 另外, 有 酒飲, 店方亦有提供意式佐酒小吃 同 芝士盤, 兩樣都不用$100元. 當中有兩名老外, 以為呢間是一間正式Wine Bar, 傻傻更更的, 店員解釋下才知道這間Wine Bar 不是那話兒. 離開後令在場5位酒客都會心笑了.我們慢慢傾, 今次兄長又教曉我許多東西. 有人請飲, 又有免費紅酒課上一上.....樂也......做弟弟真好....... 继续阅读
