昨天跟4位同事去了食晚餐, 其實小妹對呢間餐廳就一定唔感興趣o既, 事關呢度主打賣勁食牛肉, 而我就係唔係牛肉o既人士o黎o既~但係個個同事都好想去試吓wor, 咁無理由永遠要別人就自己o架~ 所以就一齊去啦~ 廣告都有寫係有其他o野食, 包括雞, 豬, 日式料理等等......去到要走過一段好靚o既路, 入坐時都好期待, 到我o地點餐o既時候先知道原來係有分$99 同埋$399 之分o既 餐。$99 係人頭分量o既蔬菜, 豬, 牛, 雞就一小時內任食; $399 呢就係同上啦~ 再加一d刺身同壽司之類o既o野但係我睇報紙介紹o既時候又無咁講o個wor, 都無講到食壽司o個d係另外計呢?? 咁都算啦! o黎到就當然係食 shabu shabu 為主, 如果真係想食日式料理我o地都唔洗o黎呢度吧?! 同埋我o地各人都計一計要唔要叫2-3個$399呢? 不過計來計去都好唔化算,所以商量咗一陣我o地就決定5位$99了。我o地落單o既時候個侍應(定經理我唔sure), 但佢不屑o既表情就係我o地大家都睇得好清楚。以$99 為噱頭唔係我迫你出o個wor, 點解你d客人想用最優惠價錢去享用晚餐o

但係我睇報紙介紹o既時候又無咁講o個wor, 都無講到食壽司o個d係另外計呢?? 咁都算啦! o黎到就當然係食 shabu shabu 為主, 如果真係想食日式料理我o地都唔洗o黎呢度吧?! 同埋我o地各人都計一計要唔要叫2-3個$399呢? 不過計來計去都好唔化算,所以商量咗一陣我o地就決定5位$99了。

我o地落單o既時候個侍應(定經理我唔sure), 但佢不屑o既表情就係我o地大家都睇得好清楚。以$99 為噱頭唔係我迫你出o個wor, 點解你d客人想用最優惠價錢去享用晚餐o既時候會遇到如此不禮貌o既對待呀?

心諗我o地個個都開開心心咁來, 我唔想大家唔開心就忍住無出聲, 當作時運高睇唔到。到時食物上枱o既時候, 我見到世上最犀利o既刀功, d肉超薄, 薄到透光, 都唔緊要, 如果好食o既話都係無問題的, 魚生有時都係切到咁薄o架啦! 但係一食落口...... d 豬肉有腥味的...... d 雞又有雪味, 薄到咁都有咁大o既"味道"...... 一定無下次。

個湯底都ok o既配合埋d清菜都尚可o既, 但係不停食肉但只有少少菜就真係麻麻o地, 我真係唔知宜家d菜係比肉貴......(我真係食米唔知米貴了!!!!) 總括而言呢一度好唔好食就各人口味, 不過服務態度咁"好"呢, 我就無可能接受到囉!!!!

一係就做d $199 or $299 o既 promotion, 可能都會有人來, 但係就唔好用$99 吸引咗d食客來就咁對人囉!!!!!!!!

七月十一‧雨在外邊吃飯,我也算是有點經驗。在我的字典中,「抵食」,就多數不會「好食」,而這裡,是絕對的「抵食」。老早知道這裡天天也提供一小時任食shabu-shabu,一直沒機會試。是日放早,與同事心血來潮,就一起來吃吃火窩。周二的一時未夠來到,可以想像這裡人客不會多,說真一點,就只得我們一檯。坐下向侍應提出說要吃牛肉火窩,火窩爐及食具已立即送上來,然後就是雞肉及牛肉各一碟。正奇怪怎會有雞肉的?侍應已說出原來除了牛肉,也可以選雞肉、羊肉及豬肉的。那就每樣來一碟,看看有那些好東西。吃shabu-shabu也少不得要喝啤酒,這裡只得青島及朝日樽啤兩款,俱只要後者。牛肉吃起來不算是好貨色,油脂不夠,吃起來自然不會鬆軟。但以99蚊任食的價錢,已算是交足功課;反而羊肉很不錯,因為油脂夠,淥一淥就吃,夠羶香又軟腍,點起麻醬來吃,很滿意,我們也追加一碟;雞肉算是不過不失,當然我們吃慣新鮮雞肉的,吃雪雞自然不是味兒;豬肉就是最弱的一環,吃shabu-shabu吃的豚肉質數一低,吃起來就如煲湯豬肉的,是日就是這樣子。這裡的任吃是貨真價實的,吃完一碟,侍應已經立即問要不要再添。配套也是很認真的,有一大碟蔬

吃shabu-shabu也少不得要喝啤酒,這裡只得青島及朝日樽啤兩款,俱只要後者。

配套也是很認真的,有一大碟蔬菜,而窩底是用木魚清湯,再加一片昆布。到最後掏點湯才喝,清鮮可口。如果不是很飽,拿來一碗米飯及蛋來做個「雜炊」,必定好吃到不得了。

服務很好,侍應們快手又醒目,值得一讚。

埋單每人一百七十五,已經連啤酒了,吃得飽一飽,幾抵食。雖然看來看去,這裡也只港式日本料理一間,但這個99蚊任叮一小時的shabu-shabu,又真的是幾抵食的。

有兩款Shabu Shabu套餐,分別是$99.00的牛肉任食及$399.00的壽司刺身餐。$99.00個餐有牛肉及一盆雜菜,只有牛肉是任食﹗大約要在1小時內完成,牛肉就無其他食評講得咁好,不過$99.00你想要什麼﹗我去過好多食店,d雜菜會黑黑黃黃,這裡就好新鮮,樣衰的部份都切掉﹗$399.00個餐有4件壽司(三文魚、吞拿魚同另外2款魚類),4款刺身(一隻牡丹蝦、3片三文魚、2件帶子、2件不知名魚類),一隻芝士焗大蝦,蝦+雜菜天婦羅,再有牛, 豬, 羊的Shabu Shabu,最後還有一個雪糕﹗Shabu Shabu、只係羊肉較好有臊味但較碎,其他就行貨。壽司和刺身,夠新鮮肥美。天婦羅炸得夠水準,炸漿夠薄少油。芝士焗大蝦非常好吃,芝士夠香,蝦夠熟但唔會煮過頭,有蝦膏。雪糕是綠茶味,夠香夠滑,佢地仲好細心,用兩個碟盛載,其中一個碟是冰了的,值得加分。另外點了一個西瓜汁,是鮮榨無加水的。最後評論:如果為了去吃Shabu Shabu,就不值得去咁遠了,但佢其他菜色,水準非常高,當然價錢亦較貴,如果散叫,應該會更貴。水準和收費,應該是一家高級的日本餐廳。個位置的確幾難找,佢在二樓,但行來行去

你從樓梯入淺水灣酒店,上完樓梯向左邊行,會見到代客泊車場,見到前邊有惠康,就行過去,去到走廊,就轉左邊行到盡頭,一上樓梯就會見到間鋪。

早前見到雜誌寫又有99元的shabu shabu 食,而又咁去開淺水灣,於是便試下!不過間餐廳其實不易找,雖說是在巴士站上的商場,但不問人真的不知在那...入到去環境一流,服務也非常好~進去之後叫了個shabu shabu ,任食豬,牛,羊,雞肉,而菜只得一碟,限時一小時。可以當坐下他給你餐牌時...是不會比那張印有99元的shabu shabu你的...如果不是在門口見到有單張,也不知有沒有提供。而且,當叫了只值99元一個的食物時,他是會不停的問你需不需要叫點飲品...問也問了3次...的確扣了點分,不過當然是很有禮貌啦,也不會迫你..但感覺不好...不過服務真不可挑剔,當個火不夠時,他會幫你睇下,也會睇下夠熱未幫你開蓋,最好的是當你吃完一碟時,他會幫你上過另一碟,令你不用每次都叫他上。我也未吃過很好的牛..也不知這些是否頂級,但以價值計絕對是超值的,因為牛羊的肉地也很靚,咬下去也不是像茶樓那些全都肥肉。最後值得一提的是,其他東西也很貴...比較無咁抵..

可以當坐下他給你餐牌時...是不會比那張印有99元的shabu shabu你的...如果不是在門口見到有單張,也不知有沒有提供。而且,當叫了只值99元一個的食物時,他是會不停的問你需不需要叫點飲品...問也問了3次...的確扣了點分,不過當然是很有禮貌啦,也不會迫你..但感覺不好...

不過服務真不可挑剔,當個火不夠時,他會幫你睇下,也會睇下夠熱未幫你開蓋,最好的是當你吃完一碟時,他會幫你上過另一碟,令你不用每次都叫他上。

我也未吃過很好的牛..也不知這些是否頂級,但以價值計絕對是超值的,因為牛羊的肉地也很靚,咬下去也不是像茶樓那些全都肥肉。

最後值得一提的是,其他東西也很貴...比較無咁抵..

睇到下面連續有幾日d食評都攞滿分,決定去試吓.......... 食完覺得真係幾抵﹩99蚊有得打邊爐,同下面食評一樣d牛肉o.k,其他食物都o.k。不過刺身三文魚就有骨,本人唔接受,個人認為普遍級數,其實走果時想問D staff牛肉係邊度供應商,因為我都想買返屋企打邊爐,不過我諗staff都唔會講俾我聽。

I think this place is probably the best place serving traditional shabu shabu in hong kong. I never thought i could have good shabu shabu at a reasonable priced restaurant in hong kong, but I was wrong.A group of 4 of us ventured to Repulse Bay yesterday with a view to having the advertised $99 all you can eat shabu shabu at this only Jpanese restaurant in Repulse Bay. I think this place is probably the best place serving traditional shabu shabu in hong kong.

I never thought i could have good shabu shabu at a reasonable priced restaurant in hong kong, but I was wrong.

A group of 4 of us ventured to Repulse Bay yesterday with a view to having the advertised $99 all you can eat shabu shabu at this only Jpanese restaurant in Repulse Bay. It is located inside the old Repulse Bay Hotel where the environment is filled with a kind of nostalgic feeling.

We ordered 2 $99 shabu shabu and 2 $399 shabu shabu and shared everything...we all think that the $399 is a better deal as it includes: all you can eat American beef (empty plates will be refilled immediately with another plate full of thinly sliced beef until you tell him no more), one plate of vegetables, udon, grilled king prawn, sushi and sashimi platter, traditional Japanese ice cream, etc.

We had a bottle of their house white wine to share amongst us all, which was only around $300 for a quality bottle.

Service was good and courteous.

Good music and atmosphere.

So it is probably the best deal in town.

I have been away from HK for almost 2 years and while studying in Los Angeles, I have always patronized at some Japanese restaurants, however, most of them serve sushi/sashimi only and it's quite seldom to find one restaurant serving traditional shabu shabu as their main treat.My classmates at UCLA recommended me to this place, Y by-the-bay which she says is a must try. I have been away from HK for almost 2 years and while studying in Los Angeles, I have always patronized at some Japanese restaurants, however, most of them serve sushi/sashimi only and it's quite seldom to find one restaurant serving traditional shabu shabu as their main treat.

My classmates at UCLA recommended me to this place, Y by-the-bay which she says is a must try. So I trust her taste and paid them a visit over the weekend before I return to the US.

Repulse Bay is not too far away as it took me only less than 15 minutes by mini van (number 40) from CausewayBay. Only $9. My classmate suggests me to take the bus #260 from either Central or Admiralty which she said it's really convenient and fast. Anyhow, when I reached this place and asked around how to get to the Japanese restaurant. It is located on the first floor after taking a short elevator ride, passed a Chinese restaurant and through a long tree-lined alley and you'll see their signage in green right in front of you.

Once I stepped in the main entrance, the restaurant is nicely decorated, with a huge wooden fixture hanging in the middle of the room right above a round sushi counter. Windows are on three sides and views to a small nicely landscaped garden.

I sat at the sushi counter and the waiting staff immediately handed me wet hot towel, a cup of green tea and menu. Then I believe a captain or manager came around and introduce their special all you can eat beef shabu shabu for $99 per person. I saw a board on the sushi counter saying there is a $399 per person for all you can eat beef shabu shabu, plus sushi and sashimi, grilled king prawn and Japanese ice cream. There is also another special which is $380 for an order of Kobe beef.

Then I asked the manager, is there a huge difference between Kobe and the ordinary beef, which he said their ordinary beef is already top grade US beef and of course Kobe tastes totally different.

Finally, I ordered $99 all you can eat beef shabu shabu and one order of Kobe beef to test the difference. It's not easy to have Kobe beef in the USA and it's really expensive too. So, I think for $380 is a superb deal. Also, ordered a glass of house red (a choice of either French or US), had too many US in the States, so I tried a glass of French cabernet.

Then the waiter presented the shabu shabu pot with a gas oven underneath, a plate full of vegetables (as far as I could recall: spinach, tofu, a clear noodle type in wrap, mushrooms, etc) and a plate of udon. Then there were the two plates of ordinary beef and Kobe beef. I must say the ordinary beef already looked appetising but when you compare this with the Kobe beef, the color is different where Kobe is lighter with more fat distribution.

So I slowly put the vegetables in and one slice of US beef and tasted, it was good and of high grade then I tried a slice of Kobe, it just melted in your mouth, quite buttery feeling. When I finished each plate of US beef, the waiting staff will come and presented me with another plate until I told them I had more than enough.

After I had enough beef and with a bit of veggie left, I poured the udon in and by this time, the taste of the soup was just nice and rich.

It was almost full house when I got there and I would say almost 90% of customers were having the shabu shabu. Quite a number of westerners there also.

Oh, almost forgot, I also tried two pieces of their special grilled lamb rack, which is only $28 per piece. Nicely done and tasty.

Thanks to my classmate for her great recommendation and I might pay another visit here before I go back to the USA.

I don't think one can ever find another place serving all-you-can-eat beef shabu shabu for $99 per person in Hong Kong, especially when they are serving top grade US beef. There may be some places out in the nowhere giving you cheap Australian or local beef, but that makes a lot of difference in both taste and quality wise.The ambience is relaxed yet cosy, and I must praise their service standard, never annoying nor over selling. Though the vegetables are not all-you-can-eat (a big plate of vegetables goes with the $99 package already), we ordered other side dishes, like sushi and sashimi which were very reasonably priced and at a discount if you were having their shabu shabu. Sushi/sashimi were very fresh and nicely presented by an experienced sushi chef in the middle of the restaurant.

We ordered an order of cold sake which is just around $100, again presented nicely in an iced-cold decanter. Very attentive service in refilling our cups.

This restaurant is not big but the tables are quite spaced out, a little Japanese styled garden outside with 2-3 tables, otherwise all tables are indoor. Some customers were sitting in front of the circular sushi counter and the atmosphere was just great.

I forgot how many plates of beef we had as I had to struggle to finish the udon which comes with the $99 deal. Once you finished each plate of beef, the waiter will serve another one automatically and immediately and would not let you wait and wait and wait. The beef was thinly sliced with 50/50 fat and meat proportion. Taste was really good. But if you like the taste of local beef at some Cantonese hot pot places, you might not like the taste of top grade US beef. I certainly prefer US beef over Australian and Chinese/local beef.

Conclusion: Great place, nice location, good environment, top-notched service standard, food are fresh and nicely presented, adequate aircon, parking only $10 per hour (if parked at valet).

Comments: Will definitely visit again.

還是信自己好!一位食家朋友介紹話依道好好食,遲遲都無去試因為下面的評語壞多好小。星期六到淺水灣及赤柱,便到了這家食晚飯。一進入已經給我一個很舒服的感覺。坐下後經理過來介紹他們出名的shabu shabu﹐有每位$99任食美國頂級牛肉及一大碟菜包括豆腐,金菇,紹菜,戶絲,烏冬麵等等...及每位$399除了以上並加壽司,刺身,燒大蝦,日本雪糕等等...我們兩個人就試了各一個0黎share! 牛肉很有肉的0未道而著很嫩,非常好食。壽司刺身都很新鮮。我們很不明白為什麼有那麼多的壞comments, 總括來說是很有水準的一家餐廳。有時候相信一下自己是有好的回報!

Man, this place is such a rip-off! I went there because we thought we are getting the beef for $99 all-you-can-eat. When we get there, we found out that the beef is the only thing that is all-you-can-eat, which is fine. However, all night long we were being pestered by annoying waitresses who asked as to try some $200 this and $300 that. All the other simple food (veggies, etc) are very expensive. The services is really below average and the final bill for 3 people came out to be more than

今晚食完呢間日本料亭,我都覺得無下面果D食評寫得攃差呀!D寿司同大x 保果D差唔多啫,平嘢差唔多啦,廚房果D炸嘢都幾好呀,埋單都係$300到,服務都幾好呀。

一年前開始去尖沙咀日本枓亭食果自助餐,覺得都幾o.k,廚房嘢過失,最好味喺果個有D啡色蒜頭牛肉粒......同埋金菇牛肉卷,壽司方面俾想像之中好,刺身好新鮮,過得三文魚,壽司D賣想好好細細粒有D日本人做嘅感覺,之後都有去食呢間日本餐,最後果次有個樓面埋單時同我地講話會結業,下次可以去淺水灣洒店試吓,佢話係分店叫我地去試吓........早兩日同朋友去開遊水,走時諗起日本枓亭喺呢度有分店woo,走去試吓啦!!但係走嚟走去都見唔到原來改咗名,但己經唔係我一年前嘅水津啦!三文魚有骨同埋有黑色一點點,D壽司又酸又求其,廚房D嘢都食到但係D炸嘢就真係差囉!!我諗我下次都唔會再去啦!!因為真係能食。
