The one I went this time is in Wanchai. It is easy to access by different means of transport like tram, bus, minibus etc… MTR is Causeway Bay station Exit B and walk back to Wanchai area for 7-8mins. Parking is available too. There are both stairway and lift to go up to 2/F. The ambience is excellent with chinese style decoration. Service is good … We ordered a set menu with snake soup and shanghai crabs. Price performance is great. Let‘s see the food quality and taste. The snake soup is tasty and hot. But there is so little snake meat I can find. For the crabs, it is a bit small to me but the roe inside is relatively ok. They gave us all female crabs this time. Talking about the other dishes, I like the steamed eel the best, hot and delicious. The roast goose… Hmm I find the meat is not that tender but the skin is crispy with smokey flavor. The other dish I like is the fried sticky rice. It served hot and many ingredients like chinese sausage and pork meat. The dessert with ginger and longan is very nice too… not too sweet and with strong ginger flavor. Many other tables order the King Crabs. The price is very good too. Below $200 per catty. Overall, this restaurant to me is worth to come again. Restaurant is clean and is accessible.

今天我們準備在此酒家舉行生日宴會,到頭來發現所有要求都換來冷淡對待,服務人員態度非常差勁,打了幾次電話,每個都說同樣沒有辦法配合,非常失望!以後無論早、午晚餐也不再考慮稻香集團的菜館了!難怪香港人都喜歡北上消費,要受這樣的氣,不如不吃,所以我們最後決定改地方舉辦生日會!這麼沒有水準的食肆留在香港也是讓香港人丟臉!讓他早點執笠吧!

美國華僑老友全家到港一定要請我食飯,但係請我選餐廳。所以決定選一家跟熟客朋友常去的鍾菜館,以為性價比高。餐廳給我寫了一張菜單,是他們的撚手菜,如下午宴地址:北海中心鐘菜館人數:10位價錢:500元/位(另收茶芥加一服務費)小食:金沙南瓜小食:七味脆豆腐小食:沙姜無骨豬手小食:五香牛𦟌石斛響螺湯(位上)鍾家醬好味蝦(腸粉底)鮮花椒焗老虎斑黑蒜和牛粒古桐麻香雞(1只)蒜香水果芹菜鍾菜館炒飯陳皮紅豆沙一到步,部長認得我,立即說,嘩,原來係你!為什麼你不早跟我說是你呢?我感覺不對勁,立即說,你看看訂了的菜單有那些要改?她只說,為什麼你不跟我早說?搖頭跑開。先上一個椒鹽炸豆腐粒,不太好吃,但可接受。再上一碟炸南瓜片,好像加了一點威蛋,味道不錯。但上盤時油立立,碟底重全部油,好似游水池咁。嘩,廚房係味懶到咁呀!無骨豬手,因為去了骨頭,樣子好核突,睇見無食欲!再上一盤他们自認拿手的燒鵝,是在原本菜單上加的,結果,皮咬不開,肉過熟,又鞋,好似唔係今日做的。零分。再上的是大蝦煎腸粉。所有蝦都是梅的!!!和牛粒。菜多牛肉粒少。食落唔似和牛。沒有特別的菜式。花椒老虎班,原來唔係成條上,係起肉和骨用油泡,用細煲上菜,魚骨在底層。可以的,但無花椒香味,賣相不佳。環顧出席的外國華僑們,談得很開心,卻沒有什麼人起筷!真失禮!結果,幾大袋沒有人想吃的菜式,一包包拿回家。今天香港的經濟低迷,港人又大舉上深圳消費,咁樣嘅餐廳會點?自己反省一下吧。服務無問題。

成日中午去鍾菜飲茶,價錢偏貴,點心尤其離地,十幾蚊一粒燒賣蝦餃,但其實無咩花樣都係正正常常發揮。芝麻雞推薦,香脆芝麻覆蓋在雞皮上,香味四溢,口感也很好,雞很新鮮很滑溜,是全餐飯最好的菜。上湯菜有些太鹹太重味,鹹蛋黃四季豆太膩(多些人share應該好一些),炒飯油膩,腸粉滑溜好吃,炸豆腐香脆可口。整體價格偏高,點心一件一件叫很不方便,其餘菜式不過不失。手機下單的網頁也比較落後,經常漏單或者重複左,茶水係自己煲,滾得比較慢,配套一般般。
