Pre order a dozen of donuts in 4 flavors for friends’ bday and was told by email that an advance 48 hrs pre order is required and fully paid 1 day before collection, no online payment like payme/FPS/bank transfer/credit card is accepted and you have to come to the shop to pay in person. Think it kinda defected the purpose of ‘pre order’ with no online payment channels available and not hassle-free.
Whats more, when i come to collect the donuts, they were packed in 2 boxes & I’d like to be in 1 big box looking more like a bday surprise so I requested the staff to repack. He rejected and said the cream will blend in tgt in 1 big box (in which I cant see any difference between packing 6 or 12 in a medium or big box) & offered to give me the big box to pack by myself after my repeated requests.
When I said i’ll do the unpacking at the counter, he finally helped in very rude manner. He took the other box from me after finish transferring the 1st medium box to the big one, and threw away the box w/ exertion. This is the worst ever attitude I ever encountered from any bakery shop!
so here comes the donuts, i tried the matcha flavor while my fds finish the rest. the fillings are gd but the donut is coated w/ white sugars and the bread is thick and cold. Honestly I dont see any value worth $38@, and I’m upset by their poor staff attitude@SOHO bakehouse.
