First of all, my boyfriend is a German and a German restaurant within 5 mins walk from home is absolutely amazing thing for him. However, we were quite disappointed by the King Ludwig Beerhouse at Wanchai.Let me tell you why.1. Unexperienced staff was not familiar with the pronounciation of the dishes. For example, you won't expect you have to point at the menu and show it to the waiter while ordering 干炒牛河 at 茶餐廳. Maybe the restaurant should find an English term for Veal Schnitzel. Don't for

1. Unexperienced staff was not familiar with the pronounciation of the dishes. For example, you won't expect you have to point at the menu and show it to the waiter while ordering 干炒牛河 at 茶餐廳. Maybe the restaurant should find an English term for Veal Schnitzel. Don't forget the word veal is already an english word.
2. My food never arrived. The restaurant claimed that all the sausages are imported from Germany so my best bet is that my sausages were yet to be shipped from N'berg.
3. Given the fact that my food never arrived my boyfriend and I assumed they missed the order...until the bill came. When we told the sausages never been served, the waiter looked skeptic as if we're trying to get $100 bucks off the bill.
Enough said.
