We were shocked when we received the bill that even our pot of PLAIN rice cost $104 - nothing special about it, just regular steamed rice!! My friend ordered the bbq chicken and it was good but definitely not worth the $250 she paid for chicken (without really any form of sauce), plain rice and a mango lassi. I had the eggplant curry and it was good but still I was shocked at the prices - at first glance we thought the menu seemed fairly reasonable prices but beware! even my bottle of water cost

The service was also quite slow (we were able to get a table straight away but once we ordered it took quite a while to get the food). We ended up spending about $250 each but I don't think the meal was worth more than $100.

尼泊爾菜和印度菜有少少相似,可能是他們國家的宗教信仰,大家主要食雞,羊,魚,蝦,不過尼泊爾菜的咖喱比較辣,某些咖哩辣的程度可以勁過辣椒醬,如果喜歡食勁辣咖喱的朋友可以一試。晚上餐廳的情調幾好,不過美中不足的只是空間不足,但服務質素一流,也值得一讚👍

Had dinner with friend on a monday evening. No need to book a table since the place is usually not crowded by 9pm. The food is so nice, very heavy tastes. Like Indian food. worth a try.

尼泊爾菜相信好少人會去食.好多人以為同印度咖哩差唔多.其實唔同.尼泊爾咖哩比較浠同辣好多🤓我去食一定會叫momo同samosa 😍👍🏼不過今次一個人食唔哂咁多.所以叫set lunch . 哩間其實都叫坐得舒服冋乾淨👍🏼samosa 青豆同薯粒爆滿👍🏼正~咖哩羊夠香.行開soho 可以一試

本人長期想去旅行的,我承認!但而家無得去咪食下D小數民族野先囉NEPAL 尼泊爾菜,平時就真係少食喇,係咩特式我又答唔出所以每一道菜都影一影,等大家知道係乜(其實自己都不太知)印象中,最深刻是湯同餅湯似西湯類,比較厚及濃,應該是類似南海湯的濃度,飲完不用肚餓那種其實成餐飯,除左會飽的湯,一片片似印度餅之類的食物,我地只叫了一碟肉一碟肉也配了兩種醬汁,做肉的方法跟西式或香港人有分別他們用左好洋蔥,而肉類沒有煎到香,比較似慢煮整體都係好食既,只係有D不習慣

印象中,最深刻是湯同餅

湯似西湯類,比較厚及濃,應該是類似南海湯的濃度,飲完不用肚餓那種

其實成餐飯,除左會飽的湯,一片片似印度餅之類的食物,我地只叫了一碟肉

一碟肉也配了兩種醬汁,做肉的方法跟西式或香港人有分別

他們用左好洋蔥,而肉類沒有煎到香,比較似慢煮

整體都係好食既,只係有D不習慣

朋友午飯時間充裕,帶我到soho區午膳,價錢不算太貴(畢竟在中環午膳,基本上都要一百的了),又能夠好好坐,好好談天的地方。原來要去的地方已經結業了,於是改到這裡吃一頓Nepalese的午膳。店內位子不算多,坐下來有點兒逼,但是可以接受的程度。喜歡桌面上有花的裝飾,令人心情開朗。點了兩個SET LUNCH,這次我決定不喝湯,而選擇了朋友盛讚的咖哩角。吃過之後都覺得挺不錯,與其又是喝紅湯,倒不如試一下吃的菜式。主菜點了鐵板羊肉配Mint Nann。上菜時侍應捧著鐵板盛著羊肉到你的位置,才把雞放到你的盤子裡。感覺食物非常的新鮮,則弄好就放到你碟上。而朋友則點了咖哩雞肉配蒜蓉Nann。其實Nann一向是我家喜愛的食物之一。Mint Nann我在別的地方從未嚐過,以為會很重薄荷味道,但其實味道只是淡淡的,很好,因為我不太喜歡濃烈的味道。羊肉很好吃,鐵板的做法原汁原味,而咖哩雞的咖哩亦不太spicy,特有應該是迎合了香港人的口味吧!店內的顧客很多都是外國人,所以我們談天非常的開心,沒有中國人的店內,大家都暢所欲言了。

Last time I went was several years ago and I remember the food was good. Dinner last week was simply horrible. We ordered : Luiche Rana Pariwar ( BBQ chicken breast ) it was dry and tasteless . Saffron Rice : Too wet Royal Kukhura ( Chicken cooked in almond based gravy ) . The quality of lamb was so bad I could not even cut it open with a steak knife. The lamb have no taste at all , just covered in gravy .  I gave up after half a piece of lamb.
$ 138 for this dish .

Perhaps they change the chef , but its a skame that they serve such bad quality meat .
I would never go back again.

I am at a loss for why this place is always full. We ordered three dishes, a chicken in masala sauce, lamb with spinach and okra. The chef clearly has a huge vat of insipid tomato and onion sauce on the go and mixes and matches meat and vegetables into it. Masala sauce? They need to cut down on the menu, sack the chef, hire someone who knows how to build up flavour and specialise in a few flavourful dishes.

 中環Soho 區充滿了各式各樣的異國美食, 而且全部也很有特色, 在這裡絕對可以品嚐到不一樣的美食. 這次我選的是尼泊爾菜, 位於士丹頓街的小店子, 周中的晚上人流不多, 店內有點昏暗, 若不留心點找, 很容易會missing的. 甫進入店內, 只有一枱食客, 我們找了個近牆的位置. 餐廳的佈置充滿了尼泊爾的民族風味, 每張桌子也鋪上了黑白圖騰圖案的餐紙, 餐巾也叠得工整講究, 可見餐廳對餐桌的擺設也一絲不苟. 而且每張桌上也放了一枝蘭花, 他們喜歡用鐵做的器皿, 很原始的感覺平常偶爾也會吃印度菜, 但尼泊爾菜倒是第一次. 印度菜着重香料的混合, 那尼泊爾菜呢? 先試這個送的薄脆, 我還在點菜, 蔡生已先吃為快, 但一吃即大叫很辣, 然後立刻大口大口的喝了整杯水.. 到我試食時, 發覺薄脆並不辣, 但就是不夠脆, 味道也不錯. 原來辣是來自那兩碟又紅又綠的醬汁, 尤其是綠色那碟, 是用青辣椒磨出來的, 呷少少已經令舌頭都麻痺了. 一向很能吃辣的我, 也被辣得熱血沸騰.跟着試了全晚堆一不辣的頭盤, 燒茄子, 鹹香的, 外皮燒得焦香, 內裡的茄子肉卻軟軟的, 口感很好, 唯一缺點是有一點

跟着試了全晚堆一不辣的頭盤, 燒茄子, 鹹香的, 外皮燒得焦香, 內裡的茄子肉卻軟軟的, 口感很好, 唯一缺點是有一點過鹹和份量較少.

接下來的食物, 都在挑戰我們味蕾極限. 先是這個鴨胸沙律, 單看賣相, 好像京都骨, 一點沒有沙律的感覺, 輕輕呷一口, 也是酸酸甜甜的, 我們便不以為意的大口大口吃着. 鴨肉的份量不少, 而且都是鴨胸肉, 加點洋蔥一起吃, 很惹味的,鴨肉很瘦也帶點煙薰香. 我們另外點了一份Plain Naan 來點汁吃. 初初還好好的, 但慢慢的, 辣味就從舌頭深處散發出來, 而且更是一發不可收拾, 趆吃趆辣, 而且是麻辣那種, 把整個口腔都弄得麻痺了, 良久不散....不停喝水也不能解辣. 這時, 蔡生已吃得大汗淋漓, 開始有投降的準備了.

我們還點了一個咖哩雞, 吃過之前的勁辣鴨肉後, 真的有點擔心咖喱也是辣得驚人...上菜時, 看到同樣的血紅色, 已倒抽一口氣了, 為了能比較容易入口, 我們再叫了白飯, 同樣用金屬器皿盛着, 很尼泊爾的風味. 而且那個飯勺很重很有份量, 證明都是用真才實鐵來鑄造的. 說回這盤紅咖哩雞, 味道其實不錯, 也是頗辣的, 但比起鴨胸稍為温和一點, 不過由於口腔已充斥了麻辣味道, 已不太分辨出雞的味道了. 本來很吃得辣的我, 也不得不投降了, 不知是否剛巧我們點的都是超辣的菜式, 看過其他食評又沒有人說食物超辣的, 可能只是我們選擇錯了. 相對印度菜, 我較喜歡前者, 因為香料重而辣味也較容易為人接受, 不過這店子也是滿有特色的.

服務方面, 兩位印藉的侍應工作十分清閒, 經常在打牙較, 但我們不停要求加水, 她們也很禮貌和很快為我們添加, 而且每吃完一道菜, 又很貼心的換上乾淨和微暖的新碟, 餐廳衛生環境是值得加分的. 自問很愛又很能吃辣的朋友, 可以挑戰一下自己的味覺能耐哦.

This place is great! We popped in at short notice on a Friday night and had to wait for a while for a seat, fairly understandable given how popular a place it is, and you can make a reservation. So while we were waiting the manager sent us down the road for a free drink at another place that he either owns or uses as a waiting room(!) We were seated by the door, the restaurant itself is very crowded, but I think the same can be said for a lot of places in Hong Kong, particularly in an area like Soho. The decor was pretty though, very Nepalese.

We ordered a bottle of wine, some small starters and two curry type dishes which we shared. We ordered the only hot curry on the menu. Both of use adore hot food, but this was a different thing entirely. It only came in super hot, and the waiter warned us of this, but we went ahead anyway and ordered. It really was too too hot, in spite of being very delicious tasting, but we simply could not finish it. The other curry we ordered was very very mild and had duck in it, it was lovely too.

Soho除了各類西餐廳,還有中東、印度....今天,我示Honey選擇尼泊爾菜。這店無論味道、裝修、侍應服務都不錯,所以我倆第二次光顧。店的面積不大,桌椅也不多,木桌椅、木雕掛牆装飾、黃銅器皿...很有尼泊爾風情。鋪桌的枱紙印有佛教圖案前菜:素菜Samosa和燒茄子主菜 : 咖哩羊配印度烤餅主菜 : 烤鷄Masala Tea :

Luiche Rana Pariwar (Barbecued Chicken) (5/10)
This was one very simple kebab, but it was a beauty. Again, the chicken was lightly seasoned, marinated in cashew nuts paste with saffron and some authentic nepali spices. This is different from the Turkish or Indian style, wasn’t grilled with charcoal. It was served on a red hot metal plate with the sizzling effect. However, the chicken was slightly over cook, wasn’t tender enough.

Nepalese food is full of aromatic flavour. This is especially notable in the lightness of the curry sauce and use of herbs and species. Most of the dishes are prepared with spices and ingredients sourced from thehigh altitude region, and diners will find this restaurant dishing out generous plates that are easy to wolf down.

We've eaten here before in February and had enjoyed the food, so we came back. We had to wait for 20 minutes for a table while we had a quick drink at the Spot Bar opposite. The food came out a lot slower than usual, probably due to pressure in the kitchen from the large parties already eating inside. However, I woke up twice in the night really thirsty and had to drink a lot of water, so probably not a good sign as it suggests MSG is used in the food!

The major thing which had spoiled the whole experience was the manager would not give us the Citibank credit card discount as we were $9 short from the total bill! I mean, come on!!

A very bad call from the manager as it was a rather tight-fisted treatment and although the food was good, I am not sure if I would like to give them my business again.

兩個人吃午餐,叫咗兩個套餐:我的尼泊爾沙律:有番茄,雜菜,青瓜,沙律菜... 等,dressing 幾特別,少少辣.友人的南瓜湯味道不錯.烤餅 : 外面少少脆,內裏軟腍,熱辣辣,好吃.咖哩羊和咖哩牛: 橙色的咖哩, 幾香濃, 但羊和牛的份量較少, 只有幾舊.咖啡 : ok這裡的尼泊爾咖哩味道唔係好辣,但幾刺激,食完覺得舌頭有點痳,好像快要生痱子,快快埋單後立即去玉葉甜X吃個海帶緑豆沙解毒.

很久沒有嚟呢度食,今天天氣不錯,我和朋友就嚟食lunch,呢度店子小小,不算寬敞但還可以的,服務也OK。 我哋order 咗兩個lunch set,一個BBQ雞和一個咖哩羊。先嚟頭盤Samosa 和燒茄子,Samosa的餡喺咖哩薯仔,外皮脆脆哋,味道不錯。茄子煎得香脆,味道也好。跟住就有我和朋友都喜歡嘅Naan,我哋擇咗洋葱味和原味,兩欵都很鬆軟,很好味,我哋搽啲綠色嘅Sauce,超辣但好味。主菜喺咖哩羊,羊肉不多又冇乜羊羶味,嗰Sauce少少辣味道不錯,配上Naan都幾好味。BBQ雞有點驚喜,雞肉嫩滑,有點香草味,味道很好。最後啲咖啡就不過不失。
