平時去開飲嘢都係去dot cod ,見渣打樓下裝修咗咁耐終於開咗,佢lunch都會有omakase,今次約咗人就去試吓飲野先。店員表示遲啲會做吓promotion,呢杯xxxxx in the Tokyo 有matcha 貪新鮮試試,都不錯。

New restaurant bang in Central by the group of Palco. What struck me as I walked inside was that it was very dark, and noisy. There were 2 counters to choose from: either teppanyaki or sushi on either side; tables of 4 in the middle. Private room seating 8 up the stairs. Since we didn’t want a heavy lunch, we opted for the sushi counter. 3 sets to choose from. There were 2 counters to choose from: either teppanyaki or sushi on either side; tables of 4 in the middle. Private room seating 8 up the stairs. Since we didn’t want a heavy lunch, we opted for the sushi counter. 3 sets to choose from. We picked the mid-priced one with 13 pieces of sushi ($788).
Ordered a glass of burgundy white.
First to come was the appetizer, being deep fried tofu in soupy sauce with uni. Presentation was a bit poor, some blobs of uni slabbed in the tofu, other blobs on the side. Tofu no longer crispy cos been soaking in the sauce...

Then came the sushi, not very big pieces. Rice was marinated by red vinegar. No need to dip soy sauce and wasabi cos chef would give each piece its own condiment (organised in the tray).

Otoro +芥玉子- mustard made a nice balance with the fatty texture of the toro.

Uni in seaweed- Picky Eater noted that it was a very high grade cos the legs of the box were higher than the normal ones.
Tamago mixed with 江戶前魚子
Soup
Melon and strawberry as dessert.
In summary: interesting experience. Can try.

今天去的是在中环开的一家新的日料,名字叫Odds,据说开店才一周,其中铁板烧section是第三天开放(而且我们幸运地成为了第二桌客人)。新开的店还不能tag位置,在这边写一下:中环德辅道中4-4A号渣打银行大厦地下G2号铺。我们点的是铁板烧商业午餐,包括两道小菜(今天是一道海鱼加配静冈高甜度番茄,还有海胆蛋羹),一个主菜(可选的有龙虾(括号内价格是选择该主食的全套价钱;龙虾套餐为828港币),鲍鱼(738,我们今天的选择),鲷鱼(688),鳕鱼(638)),一道牛肉,一道汤(今天应该是鲷鱼汤),一碗炒饭,一份甜品(今天是静冈蜜瓜)。我们额外加了一道鹅肝(120),还每人加了100把牛肉料理从美国和牛薄烧升级成了宫崎县和牛薄烧。总体来说食材都非常新鲜(比如牛肉有很多雪花,炒饭上面加的生鸡蛋黄是四国产的,颜色特别红),料理的时间和火候也刚刚好,还有一些可谓点睛之笔的搭配:比如烤鹅肝配的无花果,薄烧牛肉里卷的葱花。不过我最喜欢的是,这顿饭吃出了夏天的味道:前菜里的静冈番茄很甜很爽口,餐后的蜜瓜咬起来甜而不沙,还配了一片绿色的枫叶提醒你秋天还远着总之是非常满意的一餐,店里的环境也很好,希望很

When you step into the restaurant, there was a very comfortable place which we could drink before our dinner.
When it came to dinner, it has a simple facade and you will see the sushi bar table when you enter it. There were not many customers that night, and it felt very comfortable.

My friend chose omakase for me, it’s mainly Sushi.
First of all, it is necessary to praise, each food was made very exquisite, meticulous, and attentive. The ingredients were also very fresh. And I really like Chef’s beautiful decoration on each dish, very satisfied, looking forward to patronizing again.

Throughout the night, I felt the attentive service, the comfortable environment, the fresh ingredients, and the appropriate Japanese sake. It was wonderful!

Overall, very satisfied, looking forward to visiting again.

Today we tried out a new restaurant which we believe will soon become the talk of the town. Walking through the entrance across a hip bar we were led to a gem hidden behind sliding doors. Amazing how omakase setting on the side merges seamlessly with the dark lighting and luxurious décor demonstrating restrained opulence. The vibrant japanese rap playing at the back awakened our senses and created just the right ambience.We started off with refreshing cocktails to dispel the early summer heat -

We started off with refreshing cocktails to dispel the early summer heat - one of the perks you seldomly get when you dine in a conventional omakase restaurant.

Next came our sumptuous feasts of 13 and 9 pieces omakase sets which were truly decadent. Each piece was mindfully prepared and they were mixed with sauces and side ingredients which were so spot-on. It is a testimony to the technique of the chef. No regret we entrusted this meal in his hands. And I cannot go without mentioning of course the o-toro which melted in the mouth, proving its superior quality beyond doubt. Another pleasant surprise was the hearty but lavish chawanmushi with lobster on top drowned in lobster bisque sauce, surely a must-try

Perhaps an unusual finale, even the cappuccino was impeccably made to taste. How exciting to find an avant-garde omakase place in town which we will certainly frequent in future.
