Just have an hour before going to my computer class in Apple. So, I popped in the Open Kitchen for a piece of cake and a cup of tea. This cafe which is another line under the Maxims has an edge over other cafes in IFC. First, the prices are lower as compared to the 'fancy' cafes, such as Agnes B ND TWG. Secondly, it has a very stunning harbour view. Thirdly, it has much more choices of food and beverages. Fourthly, the space is more spacious and seats have more privacy as compared to Starbucks,

  星期日係IFC想食個下午茶行行下見到間Open Kitchen 就被佢d Pizza及沙律吸引左喇Green apple smoothie$38, 青蘋果味唔夠濃唔知係咪因為材料只得一個青蘋果定係佢切青蘋果時跌左一舊落地但又無補番舊囉所以杯Green apple smoothie好淡囉自選Salad (small) $58細細盒味道OK架而且都幾夠飽添

在大雨連綿的下午，約了朋友在ifc見面。沒有什麼特別想要吃的，想起了Simplylife裝潢後易名Open Kitchen，倒不如去嚐新好了。我們坐在Cafe Area，面對著透徹的落地玻璃。外面看來第一眼跟Simplylife分別未有很大，就是裡面動了手腳。Cafe food也保留了許多舊選擇，不過不見了名物banana pie等，反而是主打麵包和丹麥酥。飲品我要了Grapefruit juice($34)，朋友要了Banana and passion fruit smoothie($38)，味道都不俗，定價亦不算很高。Carrot Cake($28)是餅櫃中最便宜的一款甜吃，紅蘿蔔下得很足，味道甘和。中間混入了密麻麻的南瓜籽，口感豐富。表面的cream cheese厚度恰當，略帶酸味，跟下方的蛋糕味道平衡。剛好買到最後一件的Potato Quiche($35)，撻皮酥香薄脆，破開輕易，不散落一絲碎片。中間的馬鈴薯粉得融入了綿軟細滑的蛋餡，翻熱後暖烘烘的十分好吃，要不是最後一件還想打包一份回家呢！朋友推介的Mixed nut tart($32)，撻面堆了座果仁小山，每顆果仁都不馬虎的
