We came for a late lunch on a Sunday afternoon, around 2pm. Of the 7 or 8 savoury items on their menu, only one was available (the wagyu burger which looked and tastes nothing like wagyu, or even fresh beef), and literally the last one available. Surely if the place appears to be missing inventory, you should at least have the courtesy to make it clear at your door, not when the customer asks? The staff were not rude, but they certainly don’t come across as friendly, and did not even present a half-hearted apology on behalf of the restaurant.
I had to wipe my own tables clean, and the floors looked pretty dirty. There are all of 10 tables here.
A lady in front of me who was waiting to have her cup of tea filled had to physically call out to the staff who was standing a feet away behind the counter and looking switched off.
Hubby originally wanted a specialty coffee but decided Coffee Academics or Starbucks might be a way better alternative, all things considered.
We loved their ice cream when we first tried it about 8 months ago but clearly things have deteriorated since then.
It doesn’t matter how good your staff is, or how tasty your food is; it’s the whole package that counts.
