At the first glance, I thought the curve was a fish. In Italian, Sorriso meant "". If you have zero imagination, my friend, that's a smile. We were dazzled by the seaview, but the food was far from "impressive". The following is my own, honest and sincere opinion. My friend and I failed to secure the "buy one get one free" deal at this newly opened restaurant, but I reckon it was reasonably priced for an Italian restaurant with an open view of our grand Victoria Harbour. This is my virgin commentary, please excuse the lack of details, just for this post ;)

For those who don't have the time to read my bullshit, in a nutshell, I ordered a $178 set lunch, starring pigeon with a balsamic flavoured sauce. The main course and appetizers were rubbish, but the rest, which consists of a LIVE pasta, dessert and hot chocolate, was bueno.

The other appetizers were normal, this one is the "tomato of my eye". But it only LOOKS pretty. It's stuffed with a sauce-less combination of garlic and unseasoned shrimps, left in some tomato juice. It's quite refreshing, but not my tomato. I reckon the chef should really utilize the cooked flavours of tomatoes.

This was the star - LIVE Pasta, excuse my love for the title. You get a wide selection of seafood - shrimps, mussels, clams, squid and salmon. I'd appreciate it if they can offer more sauces, but I guess the basic tomato and white sauce is sufficient. I must say that they have disappointingly tight selection of pasta. Only spaghetti and penne was available. My favourite tagliatelle was nowhere to be seen >

The cross section - looked like it was bleeding haha. I thought it was slightly overcooked, or probably they just don't know the best way to cook it. I didn't find the juicy-ness in Chinese BBQ pigeons that I expected. The sauce was a little dominated by the balsamic vinegar, but I thought it still made a perfect couple with the red meat.

Personally I prefer and enjoy Italian cuisine. Sorriso, this new Italian restaurant, is easy to find in Tsimshatsui.

This is the second time my friend and I have lunch here today. The first visit was during its soft opening and promotion period when the customers were offered great discount. It was practically packed full then and required booking weeks ahead.

The promotion is now over and I love this restaurant even more today.

The atmosphere of Sorriso is quiet , bright and low key. Its décor is not loud. It is simple but very pleasant. The fantastic view of the Victoria Harbour from the restaurant is magnifique.

The set lunch menu includes Buffet of Appetitizers & dessert; 5 different choices of main course, and coffee or Tea.

There was great variety of choice in the salad bar. Amongst others I also chose some the fresh long green bean. I was told that it was imported from Kenya, Africa. It tasted so fresh and crispy. Highly recommended! Don’t miss it. Today I had Pan Fried Sea Bass and Soave Jus as my main course. It was served at very appropriate temperature. Fish is tender and juicy and the sauce yummy. On the whole, the quality of food was of very high standard and extremely delicious.

Throughout, the manager and the servers were friendly and polite. They went out of their way to ensure us a good visit. The service was efficient too.

The bill for 2 of us was HK$336.60 including 10% service charge . I considered we got more than our money’s worth.

The experience of this visit is indeed pleasant and enjoyable. I now know why it was packed full during the soft opening. In my opinion, Sorriso is even more worth recommending now that you can enjoy your food at leisure in the tranquil atmosphere. I’ll certainly come again and try out the dinner.

到個鱸魚,其實個portion 咁細,你就唔係用咁大隻碟啦,個味冇咩ge,不過賣相都係0分, 不過叫得香煎就好似煎下啦,好似焗出黎咁

萬念俱灰,諗住甜品會冇咩,都會係甜品味咁啦,點知....出事了, 又係自助,明顯d cake係爛晒啦,味道就係食緊面粉咁, 之後仲有個blue berry 慕士, 很可惜好似牙高咁ge味,應該係話牙高好味過佢

後來冷靜下來,還是多多幫襯自助頭盤吧。擺放沙律/頭盤的地方不並大,然而款式選擇不俗,而且勝在不斷轉款,頗有驚喜。最近胃口越吃越清淡,第一碟先取了各款沙律;這裡提供的不似是羅馬生菜,然而菜葉夠新鮮爽脆,配上煙肉碎與芝士,也是相當好吃,而清甜的車厘茄,以及漏漏推介、甜美可喜的烤南瓜,也是我的心頭好。第二碟除了更多沙律,也取了鱈魚來吃;挑開較肥膩魚皮,底下肉質細嫩多汁,又是挺好吃。

後來看到有火腿推出,即拎了數片配同蜜瓜同吃;雖然火腿油脂淡薄,不是甚麼優質貨色,但好在蜜瓜清甜多汁,兩者同吃還是很不錯的。此外還有好些烤雜菜、阿支竹、雞肉片等,印象較為普通,在此不贅了。

這裡的任食意粉也很吸引,材料選擇相當豐富,雖然死心眼的我還是專情於Carbonara。落下柯打後,廚師煮好就會安排侍者送上檯,其實過程是很快的。

意粉是小小一碟不會太飽,我的Carbonara口感與調味都不俗,只嫌醬汁有點稀少,吃慣濃郁口味的甚至會彈了;友人就選了茄汁海鮮意粉,用料相當豐富,我試了些但覺大部分海鮮質素都不差,然而茄汁的意粉始終不如蛋汁吸引。其實場內還有長通粉等其他選擇,可惜自己沒長四個胃,吃完數輪也是時間進入主菜環節了!

是日主菜有三款選擇,分別是烤春雞、焗魚柳及牛扒。在侍者力推下,首先選出
烤春雞配香草汁($168);不講究雞肉的嫩滑程度的話,這雞算是烤得甚香又入味,與香草汁甚夾,滋味算是不差。配菜有嫩口的豆角及烤薯粒,是十分正常的水準,無驚也沒喜。

在魚與牛之間,侍者較為推介後者,於是又點了
燒美國西冷配蘑菇汁($198)。落單時西冷要了5成熟,成品卻遠不止此數,中間部分連一點嫩紅也沒有,而且西冷肉質瘦削兼沒多少肉汁,吃到某些部位甚至有根,講真都幾難食,與當晚海龍王所試的西冷,反差極大! 至於配菜與春雞都一樣,不重複了。

來到自助甜品環節,與頭盤一樣款式不算多,卻勝在有清甜新鮮的水果,間中也會推出新款。貪心的我首輪已全部取了些來試,當中麵包布丁及燉蛋都很普通,最好吃是朱古力慕絲杯,還有清甜的生果,其中又首推蜜瓜及西瓜。之後新出了木槺布甸,又拿了一杯,鮮製而成十分鮮滑美味呢! 後來見到有新的蘋果華夫沙律,又吃多了兩碟,而基本上每碟都有取西瓜、蜜瓜、朱古力慕絲杯及木槺布甸,幾碟過後也就很飽了。

餐後,午餐又包一杯咖啡或茶,也可以選點Cappuccino,我要了一杯發覺泡沫豐厚、咖啡香醇,風味不錯。友人選的是凍檸茶,以矮身圓杯盛起,味道不詳,但賣相是幾可愛討喜的!
 
就是這樣,與友人慢慢吃著聊著,由12點多吃到差不多3點,悠閒得很。講味道這裡真的算不上出色,但那份寫意舒適感卻值高分,尤其對於身孕日重的大肚媽媽,這樣出膳的機會已進入例數了,更加份外珍惜。今餐連加一貼士剛好$400,謝謝友人請客了!

海鮮意大利飯 [$148]: 一向Risotto都是較細份量,因為飽膩度高,但這次真的比一個女孩的拳頭還要小,而且白汁加芝士真的超膩超漏,二人分吃了一半已放棄,藍貝瘦弱得極可憐,又是失望的主菜。

Sorriso bread and daily special sauce:

The sauce that comes with the bread is different everyday, today's sauce was green made with pesto and basil.
It had the appearance of Mint Sauce, but tasted fragrant with some sweetness to it.
The pesto however was well balanced and did not over power the other flavours in the sauce which made it perfect as a sauce for bread.
The bread was fresh and soft too.

They previously made a sauce with beans which sounds good too, I wonder if it tastes like hommous.

Burrata Mozzarella:
Burrata Mozzarella and Tomato Sherbet
水牛芝士配番茄雪芭 $148
Next on was the Burrata, since I am British, I assumed the sherbet was going to be a fizzy powder sweet that you use licquorice to dip as kids. But Sherbet is the American word for the British Sorbet.
Anyway I have always loved Burrata because of its creamy texture and the creamy runny centre inside.
It is usually paired with freshly sliced tomatoes however here it is served with tomato sorbet on top.
I really liked this concept because I can feel the texture of burrata with a hint of tomato.
If it was paired with fresh tomato I would have probably eaten them separately because the texture of the tomato is different from the burrata and when you are chewing the tomato it is distracting.
This appetizer was great because I was able to taste the creaminess and texture of the burrata infused with hints of tomato.
The sorbet was nicely done, not too sweet or tangy, and it gave the burrata a cool sensation.
The texture of the burrata was amazing, it was a bit like the egg whites of poached eggs but firmer with creamy cheese oozing out in your mouth.

Osceitra Caviar, Beef Tartar, Potato Puree and Porcini Mushroom Jus
It was the first time I tried Beef Tartar and I loved it, especially with porcini mushroom juice at the bottom and the pureed potato on top.
The chef here really has the skill of pairing the right textures together!
The smoothness of the potato puree and beef tartar was great together, yet it wouldn't be too bland because it was flavoured by the big pearls of caviar and porcini juice!

Thin Sliced Veal Medallion and Tuna Sauce
薄切牛仔肉配吞拿魚汁$128
This is a well-known Italian cold appetizer, sliced veal covered with a creamy, mayonnaise-like sauce that has been flavored with tuna.
Tuna fish is puréed in a food processor with a some kind of mayonnaise which could be made of vegetable or olive oil and a variety of seasonings including anchovies, egg yolks, cayenne pepper, and lemon juice.
When it was presented, it was very summery and colourful, you could see the tuna sauce drizzled on the thinly sliced light pink veal topped with apricots, olives and their special green sauce. There was some condiments sprinkled on the plate as well, not sure if it was salt or sugar but it made the presentation really nice.
The tuna sauce was so velvety and creamy but you could still taste the fine tuna fibres in it.
The veal was really tender and melted in your mouth along with the tuna sauce, I would have thought I was just eating Tuna if I was blindfolded. An interesting pairing of fish and red meat, but saying that tuna is darker than most fishes.

Salmon and Zucchini Soup
三文魚zucchini瓜湯 $78
This was the first time I have had zucchini soup, it was jade in colour with cheese on top.
[zucchini are known as courgettes in the UK]
The cheese was made in a special way that it was like foam. The soup's texture was like thin pureed zucchini with pieces of salmon in it.
Overall the taste was light and appropriate and the piece of salmon was tender and wholesome, not broken up pieces of salmon.

This was a rich soup which I really liked, it had prawns, clams and mussels. It tasted like lobster bisque but not as thick.
The seafood in the soup was fresh too.

Penne and Spicy Tomato Olive Oil Sauce
長通粉配辣番茄汁 $118
Although it was the spiciest penne I have ever tasted, it was the best, their chili had been soaked in Olive oil so during the cooking process it gave out more flavour.
The penne was al-dente and the sauce was rich.

Risotto, Italian Porcini Mushroom and Gold Leaf
金箔意大利磨菇飯 $228
The gold leaf was so delicate and thin you could see it fluttering in the air!
The sauce for the risotto was so light yet it was packed with porchini aroma that the grains of rice were amazing to eat.
The grains of rice were individual and al dente and it was so delicious with the pieces of porcini mushrooms.
Surrounding the risotto was some potato puree too.

The pizza's here are really good, because the Chef does a light superthin pizza base.
The raw beef and rocket was good together. The rocket lettuce on this pizza was really tender it didnt have that bitter taste.

意大利磨菇披薩 $158
Same as the previous pizza, the base was thin and excellent, there was lots of juicy porcini mushrooms and the truffle oil was strong, so I really enjoyed it. Funghi heaven!

Amaretto Zabaglione:
杏仁沙巴翁 $68
This was my favourite as well as the souffle. Zabaglione is a dessert made with egg yolks, sugar, a sweet wine that has been whipped to incorporate a large amount of air. For this dessert it was flavoured with Almond, and it was so foamy and light, I loved it because the texture was runnier than meringue, just like a sauce. At the bottom of the glass there was lots of strawberries and blueberries.
I loved the concoction of berries and sugary sweet foamy zabaglione.
I have tried it two times before, and it tastes the best here! One place paired it with the wrong fruits such as melons and watermelons and it tasted like frothy gamey milk and the other place it was just a scoop of whipped cream!

Finally I would like to thank OpenRice for organizing this tasting event and the PR person who skillfully recommended the best items to eat and guilding us which dishes to start of with, from light to strong tastes.
I would also like to thank the OR editor for supplying the Chinese dish names.
Lastly I would like to wish Bruno and the team all the best and keep up with their excellent work and look forward to the white truffle and black truffle creation Bruno mentioned.
This place is definately filled with innovativity because the Chef makes the dishes with a special touch of creativity and Sorriso means SMILE and it surely did make me smile
.
I have still not tried gastronomy but it felt as good as that.
Overall, all the dishes I tried were wonderful, on my next visit I am going to try the following dishes too.

When I was leaving the restaurant, the roses on the corner were really pretty I had to take a picture.
I am not a person that likes flowers but I really liked the roses submerged in the water.
The colour of it was also nice too, light peach instead of the boring reds and pinks.

水牛芝士配番茄雪芭(Burrata Mozzarella)創意十足,用上頂級的水牛芝士Burrata,此芝士的特質是味道新鮮,外層是Mozzarella,內裡則是香軟滑溜的忌廉芝士,能做出流沁的效果,而且番茄雪葩更是大廚特製的,以新鮮意大利番茄打爛後混合香草,製成鮮甜清新的雪葩。切開Burrata後,質感幼滑的忌廉芝士散發出幽幽的芝士香,與清新且冰凍的番茄雪葩十分配合,令人胃口大開。

魚子醬配牛肉他他(Tartar di Manzo)滋味滿分,單單分開成兩道也能獨當一面,兩者配搭後更見不平凡。魚子醬具個性的味道,並不是每樣食材也能配合,但偏偏平價的薯蓉卻是絕配,以最平凡的食材去突出昂貴的魚子醬咸鮮味道。牛肉他他由切成粒狀的西冷做成,纖維雖被切斷,但仍不失嚼勁,與醬汁拌勻後,已成一道絕佳美食。當有魚子醬咸鮮味道的軟滑薯蓉與煙靱而又有嚼勁的牛肉他他碰著,味道變得更有層次。

薄切牛仔肉配吞拿魚汁(Vitello Tonnato)給人不像牛肉的感覺。牛仔肉又稱小牛肉,肉質細嫩軟滑兼脂肪含量少,比較健康,而且顏色豔麗。淋上味道濃郁的吞拿魚汁後,由於牛仔肉肉味較淡,被吞拿魚汁味謊蓋過,令人錯覺正吃著吞拿魚般,亦加有一些乾果來作點綴。

接著來一點湯來濕潤喉嚨,海鮮湯(Seafood di Pesce)材料豐富,有蝦、蜆、青口、帶子及魷魚,全部皆從意大利入口,相當鮮甜爽口,再者湯底入口醇厚,味道濃郁,充滿龍蝦的鮮甜,實行口感與味道兼備。另一道是令我驚喜的三文魚青瓜湯(Zuppa Zucchine),平常以青瓜做湯時,多以凍飲為主,甚少煮熱來喝,可是一經煮熱,沒有了那一貫以來的草青味,反而有一種清幽的青瓜香氣,嚐後發現與西蘭花青豆湯類似,但更覺清新。湯裡亦浮有以低溫浸成的三文魚粒,生熟程度剛剛好,相當嫩滑,而且也不要少看那白色泡沫,是大廚特別炮製的芝士泡沫,有點份子料理的影子,除了美觀外,亦有提味作用。

以薄餅及意粉作為主菜,絕對十分稱職,既飽肚又大體。先以一個色香味俱在的意大利磨菇披薩(Pizza ai Funghi Porcini),在那塗滿新鮮濃郁番茄醬,輕薄香脆又帶麵粉香的餅底上,放上新鮮的磨菇及芝味濃郁的水牛芝士,材料雖然簡單,但效果欲是十分好。而且披薩芬香撲鼻,正是由那獨特的松露菌油發出的芬芳香氣,更是迷人。

生牛肉披薩(Pizza Al Carpaccio)與之前的素披薩不同,是一個肉披薩,香氣亦沒有那麼濃厚,但在質感上卻是較好的一個。在Margherita Pizza上舖有生牛肉片、火箭菜及巴馬臣芝士,味道上有層次,但比不上磨菇披薩般美味,可是火箭菜卻非常新鮮,沒有那股令人又愛又恨的氣油味,使人易於入口。

壓軸的主菜到了,是大廚特別烹調的金箔意大利磨菇飯(Risotto Bruno),從觀感上拎足滿分,那片薄薄但闊大的金箔雖然對味道沒有直接的影響,但已令人欣喜。何止在觀感上令人欣喜,味道更是一流,沒有一般的漿糊質感,而是那種軟硬適中,飯粒飽滿鮮明的極品,加上出眾的牛肝菌味道,令人難以忘懷。

另一個是長通粉配辣番茄汁(Penne Arrabiata),是大廚特別炮製,材料非常簡單,只有長通粉及辣番茄汁。蕃茄汁有雖有點兒辣,但充分表現出大廚地道西西里的意式風情,質感煙靱的長通粉亦浸過橄欖油,使之更香滑柔順,香辣醒胃。

一頓美好的飯餐絕不能缺少甜品環節,由於不是太好甜品的關係,只是略嘗少許,當中有令人驚喜的甜品。三款分別是朱古力梳乎里(Chocolate Souffle and Vanilla Ice Cream)、意大利芝士餅(Tiramisu)及杏仁沙巴翁(Amaretto Zabaglione)。梳乎里有香濃的朱古力味,有趣的是雪糕竟然帶有椰子味。Tiramisu據說是大廚稍作改良的,芝士跟奶油都夠軟滑, 有濃郁酒香,蛋糕亦比較企身,應是大廚刻意改變蛋的份量所致,加多了雞蛋令蛋糕更企身。最後的杏仁沙巴翁真是特別,忌廉般幼滑的沙巴翁混有酸味的藍莓及士多啤梨,配上杏仁特有的香味,令甜酸的平衡很好,既不甜又不膩。

是晚真的享受了一頓美味的晚餐,試問面對著如此醉人的夜景、高質素但價錢又相宜的食物,甚會不是一間值得令人期待的餐廳呢?

另外,大廚常加入自己創新的意念不斷提升食物的質素,剩是這一點已令人期待。

2011年8月16日(星期二)晚,多謝OR給予小弟這個難能可貴的機會,得以出席這趟的《開飯搶鮮試》活動。承蒙OR的提攜和錯愛,「何得何能」的小弟僥幸地躋身《食家殿堂》,奈何小弟緣薄,總是和大大小小的『殿堂飯局』擦身而過,早前又再收到OR的邀請出席是晚飯局,終於碰巧這晚有空,可以一償所願!是晚晚飯地點在iSquare29樓,店家和「阿一鮑魚」作毗鄰,未進入店內已看到其華麗的裝潢,盡顯貴氣。店內燈光柔和,顏色以黑色為主,就算在夜晚也和窗外的景色有著強烈對比,坐近窗邊的位置更可遠觀無敵維港海景,感覺舒服自在。小弟來到時,食友Jamel和OR的代表已經在場,跟著初次見面的supersupergirl也來到,人齊了亦代表晚飯準備開始。最初以為是晚店方已想好了菜單,卻想不到原來可以自行點上。Menu設計簡約,食物選擇方面除頭盤和Pasta類有約十款可供選擇外,其餘如湯、Pizza和主菜以致甜品等每個種類都祇有數款,可說是貴精不貴多!看著Menu的時候,女經理問要不要點酒,小弟和Jamel兄想喝點紅酒,跟著就每人給了一杯House Red Wine,是Cabernet Sauvignon Reser

2011年8月16日(星期二)晚,多謝OR給予小弟這個難能可貴的機會,得以出席這趟的《開飯搶鮮試》活動。承蒙OR的提攜和錯愛,「何得何能」的小弟僥幸地躋身《食家殿堂》,奈何小弟緣薄,總是和大大小小的『殿堂飯局』擦身而過,早前又再收到OR的邀請出席是晚飯局,終於碰巧這晚有空,可以一償所願!是晚晚飯地點在iSquare29樓,店家和「阿一鮑魚」作毗鄰,未進入店內已看到其華麗的裝潢,盡顯貴氣。店內燈光柔和,顏色以黑色為主,就算在夜晚也和窗外的景色有著強烈對比,坐近窗邊的位置更可遠觀無敵維港海景,感覺舒服自在。小弟來到時,食友Jamel和OR的代表已經在場,跟著初次見面的supersupergirl也來到,人齊了亦代表晚飯準備開始。

最初以為是晚店方已想好了菜單,卻想不到原來可以自行點上。Menu設計簡約,食物選擇方面除頭盤和Pasta類有約十款可供選擇外,其餘如湯、Pizza和主菜以致甜品等每個種類都祇有數款,可說是貴精不貴多!看著Menu的時候,女經理問要不要點酒,小弟和Jamel兄想喝點紅酒,跟著就每人給了一杯House Red Wine,是Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, Apaltagua(2009, Chile),入口順滑,帶點果香,以House wine來說已經很不錯了。

開始時先試三款頭盤,分別是魚子醬配牛肉他他、水牛芝士配蕃茄雪芭、薄切牛仔肉配吞拿魚汁。

Tartar di Manzo(魚子醬配牛肉他他):說來慚愧,這是小弟人生首次吃到魚子醬,其獨特鹹香果然一試難忘,難怪所值不菲,而且混和在味道清淡的薯蓉當中,配合得天衣無縫;牛肉他他嫩滑鮮味,若然肉味再濃些就更好;

Burrata Mozzarella(水牛芝士配蕃茄雪芭):大廚很花功夫地先把蕃茄起皮去籽,再把蕃茄肉打成蓉,且祇取其汁液,加些醋和糖調味雪凍而造成雪芭,可見大廚匠心獨運的心思;吃之前把蕃茄雪芭和水牛芝士拌勻,既可嚐到蕃茄的清甜和不是死酸的味道,又可吃到水牛芝士的淡淡清香的獨有芝士味道;個人更是喜歡用麵包把剩餘的汁液醮來吃,另有一番風味;

Vitello Tonnato(薄切牛仔肉配吞拿魚汁):牛仔肉真的切得很薄,肉質細致幼滑;沒有魚腥味且有點像沙律醬的吞拿魚汁,味道十分濃厚,伴著牛仔肉一起吃,差點以為自己正在吃吞拿魚;

吃完頭盤,跟著就試吃兩款湯和Pizza;

海鮮湯:湯頭非常清甜,濃郁程度幾可和龍蝦湯媲美,而且所用海鮮全是選用由意大利運過來,雖然小弟祇吃了青口和蜆肉,其肉質依然爽滑,並沒有因和湯一起煮過而受到影響;

Zuppa Zucchine(三文魚青瓜湯):面頭薄薄的忌廉泡沫是大廚特製的,入口綿滑;青瓜湯味道清香濃厚,最特別是沒有青瓜獨有的草青味,令小弟以為是在喝青豆湯,而Jamel兄則以為是西蘭花;

Pizza Al Carpaccio(生牛肉披薩):全店唯一的肉類披薩,相信生牛肉和火箭菜都是焗完披薩餅底後加上面的;生牛肉嫩滑非常,火箭菜亦清爽甘香,若想再美味一點,個人建議還是用手拿披薩來吃!

主菜方面,選了兩款推介的Pasta和Rositto。

Penne Arrabiata(長通粉配辣蕃茄汁):入口頗辛辣,卻很醒胃,可惜霸道的辣味蓋過了蕃茄汁的味道;長通粉煮得較硬身,據說是大廚家鄉的特色,雖不是al dente,卻不難於咀嚼,可能是因為曾經用橄欖油浸潤過;

Risotto Bruno(金箔意大利磨菇飯):其實個人認為金箔除了增加食物的美觀和名貴程度外,對於食味是沒有影響的;煮得外軟內實的意大利飯甚感驚喜,沒有半生不熟的難吃口感,反而吃起來更有質感,實在意料之外;

吃完主菜,當然輪到甜品時間,雖然坐座的皆不是甜魔,但仍是點了三款甜品來吃。

Chocalate Souffle' and Vanilla Ice Cream(朱古力梳乎利):梳乎利表層帶點鬆脆,內裡綿滑,朱古力味恰到好處;相信是自家製的雲尼拿雪糕竟然帶有椰子的味道,軟滑可口,可惜份量太小了;

Tiramisu(意大利芝士餅):因為個人來說非常喜愛吃Tiramisu,所以對這個被推薦必試的甜品十分期待;試吃了一小口,果然非常軟滑,酒味甚濃,卻還能吃到淡淡的芝士和咖啡的味道;據大廚親自解釋,製作這個Tiramisu的配方是經過大廚改良的,所以就算放著很久也不會塌下;

Amaretto Zabaglione(杏仁沙巴滃):經網上搜尋後,得知Zabaglione是以蛋白、砂糖、甜酒做成的意大利甜品,多配以士多啤梨、藍莓等生果來吃;這裡的Zabaglione還加了杏仁,所以味道既有像忌廉的香甜,又有淡淡的杏仁清香。

整體來說,食物和環境方面都非常滿意,不過個人認為服務方還有改善的空間。雖然各位店員都殷勤有禮,但始終我們整晚都是把食物共同分享,除了吃Pizza的時候女經理主動為眾人分發外,其餘所有食物(包括湯)都要勞煩客人自行動手分配,然而侍應卻會頻頻替我們換碟,若然可留意並改善這方面,服務上就可更臻完美了,而小弟亦不會因一時失手把少許的長通粉掉在桌上。

最後,多謝OR和店方的細心安排,讓小弟有幸品嘗如此高質素的意大利菜,謝謝!

我們試了兩款,一款是蕃茄sauce烹煮的海鮮長通粉,通粉的質感有些過硬,似乎是煮的時間過短,超出了al dente的境界,海鮮用料應該是冷凍貨色,至少那個蝦肉有一點腥,質感也過於緊實。

放棄了lunch set裡的主菜,改喝海鮮湯果腹。別小瞧這只是一份湯,卻十分足料,用上青口、帶子、蜆、魷魚及蝦,取材鮮美,以蝦為例,肉質爽彈口感鮮甜,還散發著膏香,和剛剛意粉中的蝦肉簡直天上人間。海鮮湯底則是用龍蝦頭熬成,鮮美咸香,喝起來實在過癮

TC的主菜則是set中相較便宜的燒春雞(HK$168),這雞的調味非常中式,而迷迭香的香味似乎沒有出來,味道是不差,但風味不足。雞肉肉質嫩滑,但雞皮卻沒有烤成焦脆的口感,還是軟塌塌的,有待提高

餐飲分別搖了熱朱古力cappuccino,前者和學校canteen的出品無異,後者則香濃甘醇,奶泡中的空氣多了些,質感不夠綿密,但整體也還ok

截至我們離座(大約一點半),諾大的餐廳只serve了兩檯客人,其中一檯似乎還是media試食…真有點替他擔心,看來餐廳在宣傳方面還要多下點功夫。話說回來,『人怕出名豬怕肥』,餐廳也是一樣的道理,功成名就之後,想要明哲保身又難了。
