After having Pizza from Pizza Hut last evening, I will buy pizza from other suppliers. I pass by Chong Yip Centre last evening and the idea of having pizza for supper flashed to my mind. When I went up, the counter staff said there is 20% discount when taking away that day. When I went up, the counter staff said there is 20% discount when taking away that day. Instead of dinning in, I bought 2 big pizza at HK$204 and took home.
When opening the box at home, to my disappointment, the topping of pizza was only less than 1/2 or around1/3 as I had got from Pizza Hut before. The topping was thin, mean and skinny, not enough cheeze, while the quality of ham is poor. There is not enough cheese, and all the topings are mean, mean, mean!
If pizza hut wants to earn more, they can raise the price a bit. Of course if the price is too high, customers will switch to other pizza on the market. But downgrading the quality of food is forcing clients to turn away. However I was totally unsatisfied to get "Mean Pizza" that lose all the richness and tasty of previous Pizza Hut pizza. This made me feel that I am paying for rubbish. The "Mean Pizza" lost all the attractiveness, satisfaction and fulfillment that we can derive from having pizza. Why should I spend money on it anymore. There are many many other choices than pizza anyway.
Before that, 2 big Pizza Hut pizzas could feed my whole family of 3 persons. However after finishing up the 2 pizza last evening, we end up cooking instant noodles for stuffing up our stomach.
There are so many pizza suppliers on the market: such as PizzaBox, Pizza Phd, Spaghatti House, etc. Meanwhile there are also chilled pizza from supermarket at low price which only requires to put into oven for 10 minutes. I will turn to those alternatives and will not buy Pizza Hut anymore as this is not worth the money and deteriated the richness and feeling of having pizza.
