After trying I Love Istanbul's Turkish Coffee 1 night - I needed another dose of caffeine. ), as out of habit I filter 99% of cafes in my mind. Otherwise, you see, my probability of downing a bad coffee will increase 'Exponentially' as there's millions of cafes around and surely one shouldn't take unnecessary risks!
- A Good Coffee keeps one going, a Bad Coffee ruins your wholeday! You might have noticed the trend but I don't normally visit or write about Upstair Cafes, but I've certainly been to some. I think most of upstairs caffes are not very professional enough in terms of Food training and also Coffee Quality... I don't mind them, but there's only so much money and stomach space one has allocated each day exploring Food and Coffees and Alcohol!, so they're not on my priority list. Apart from the likes of Crystal Cafe, Wings and Safety Stop, etc, etc, MAD ABOUT COFFEE also stood out in my mind as from what I heard, they claim they use Eggs... oh I mean Beans
which listens to music, similar to the imported Singing Bean Mikado Coffee in Macau, also the new owners who took over this old cafe space are supposedly: Mad About Coffee as the sign says! So let's give it a test!

Ordered a Cappucino:
The base is made of 3 Coffee Beans roasted locally. It takes some time to arrive as they were drawing some Chocolate Art on the Coffee - NICE TOUCH! It was quite roasty and bitter however, and as it cooled down it got a bit sour on the end note behind the scene. Its also very hot!

It was actually a decent effort of a coffee to be honest - but its really strong and slightly unbalanced! Its a Nice shop for relaxing in after tiring yourself in Mongkok though!

NOTE:
- YOU NEED TO ENTER FROM THE SIDE STREET AND BUILDING.
- MY COFFEE IS $38 HERE, TOO PRICEY IN MY OPINION AT THIS LOCATION AND THE CURRENT QUALITY.
- IT HAS POTENTIAL TO BE REALLY GOOD! BUT AS IT IS, MY COFFEE SEEMS TOO BITTER TO RECOMMEND TO COFFEE AFICIONADOS FOR NOW, ALSO I DIDN'T NOTICE MUCH ENTHUSIASM THAT NIGHT, AS ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THEIR COFFEE WERE MET WITH BLANK FACES.... NEVERTHELESS... ITS PRETTY GOOD

Took a While to Find this Shop's Door!
