An Easter Monday afternoon, working but casually, bumped into this place while drove by Mong Kok and Ho Man Tin area.A number of times when drove by their Sai Wan shop with long queue each time when they first opened. It was due to their signature milk brand which attracted us the most. We had been drinking this brand, both black and white, since little. Till now we still go to nearest market to buy their bottles of milk for our family regularly. We once again came at the right time when inside
An Easter Monday afternoon, working but casually, bumped into this place while drove by Mong Kok and Ho Man Tin area.
A number of times when drove by their Sai Wan shop with long queue each time when they first opened. It was due to their signature milk brand which attracted us the most. We had been drinking this brand, both black and white, since little. Till now we still go to nearest market to buy their bottles of milk for our family regularly.
We once again came at the right time when inside was not overwhelmed, and, car spot was available right outside. We arrived just 10 mins before afternoon tea and didn't aware till lunch sets were ordered. Unsure about the quantity or size of dish between lunch and afternoon set but perhaps 5 to 8 dollars difference when we compared their menus.
We ordered lunch set, approx 60 dollars per set, and feel free to look at the pictures enclosed.
1) Baked Pork Chop and Tomato with Rice. Pork was designed to be thick cut and surprisingly it was soft, easy to cut and chew. It wasn't too dry but not as juicy as we anticipated. What if they keep the softness and thickness but add more juice and taste into this dish will be perfect. Do share back if you know any place you suggest.
2) Sausage, Ham, and Sunshine Egg with Rice and Soy Sauce. A typical dish you should all know if you have lived in HK long enough or known HK cafe evolution. Taste should be universal as long as served in hot, crispy, with proper sauce. Presentation was good and the 2 sunshine eggs were impressed how they displayed on here.
Good and sufficent if you want to have a full lunch. As usual we ordered milk tea with condensed milk. Aright and no surprise.
Next we'd like to try their afternoon tea, Tomahawk Chicken Leg & Thigh. From next table ordered when we paid at cashier it was huge. Unlike other places this was exceptionally giant and comparable with Yao Mings bball hand.
