before choosing this for Friday lunch, I wasn't expecting much from this upgraded brand of Genki sushi. i mean, for its price point, this restaurant chain is good at selling fresh sushi without the actual skill of a typical sushi chef nor the service from a typical japanese sushi restaurant. anyway, what was unacceptable was the fact that there was poor service in managing the expectation of the patrons waiting to be seated.i literally stood in front of the shop for a full 40 minutes. during t

i literally stood in front of the shop for a full 40 minutes. during that time, i was reassured time and time that a table will be available to us, especially since there were other options downstairs. They also seem to have a preference of giving tables to the patrons in bigger groups (there were only 2 of us) so those who arrived 15 minutes later than us actually got seated first.
Okay, when we finally sat down, half of the dishes that we ordered were unavailable and we resorted to having the leftovers they made in the conveyor belt area.
needless to say, this is the last time i go to this shop, or any of its chain.
