I quite like the ambient town of Sai Ying Pun. It's equally local and western. Besides the High Street restaurants, you also have a blooming Taiwanese scene happening. Exit C of the MTR station will lead you right to the restaurant.The restaurant is comfortable in size. The assorted plate has pork intestines, and I love the thin rice noodles broth.The three cup chicken tastes fresh, and the chicken is tender but the dish is not overpowering in taste or too pily. The "typhoon shelter" fried veggies is recommended but it was quite ordinary with just fried garlics. It's tasty but not as great as expected.
I like the braised tofu here as well, this restaurant is quite local and the wait staff are very nice. Recommended for a quiet date or can even come alone!
