I had the pleasure of dining at this exquisite Shanghai restaurant recently, and I couldn't wait to share my experience.

From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance struck me—a perfect blend of elegance and comfort, with a view that adds a magical touch to the dining experience. The staff greeted us warmly, and their attention to detail was impeccable throughout the evening.

Now, let's talk about the food, which was nothing short of spectacular:

- Shanghai Smoked Fish (上海熏鱼):
The fish was smoked to perfection, with flavors that danced on the palate.

- Explosive Oil River Shrimp (油爆河虾): These shrimps were succulent and bursting with a spicy kick that left us craving for more.

- Drunken Crab in Shaoxing Wine (花雕醉蟹): This delicacy was a highlight. The crab, marinated in fine Shaoxing wine, had absorbed all the aromatic goodness.

- Eel Paste with Shiang Oil (响油鳝糊):
We opted for a medium serving. The eel was tender, and the Shiang oil brought a unique depth to the dish.

- Steamed Tiger Grouper with Pickled Vegetables and Chili in the Snow (雪里红蒸黄皮老虎斑):
It was a showstopper. The fish was steamed to perfection, and the pickled vegetables provided a tangy counterbalance to the sweetness of the fish.

- Camphor Tea Smoked Duck (樟茶鸭):
A whole duck that was a true testament to the chef's skill—smoky, flavorful, and utterly delicious.

- Rice Pot with Crab Meat and Fish Maw (蟹粉花胶煲饭):
A large pot that was the perfect finale to our meal. The combination of crab meat and fish maw with the rice was divine.

Each dish was a testament to the chefs' mastery over traditional Shanghai cuisine, with a flair that made each bite memorable.
