It is a common practice to add food pictures in food comments. When I was dining with K last Thursday night, we came up with a new idea that we should take a photo of what had been left on the dishes. A graphical representation is often more convincing than the literal one. The picture attached is a plate which originally contains lamb with cashew nuts paste and creamy curry. Obviously, I need not say anything how it tastes. Beside curry, we had the following dishes: nanveggie & potato pockets g

Indian curry is characterised by its thick paste like curry sauce. In this lamb curry, the lamb had been stewed thoroughly without losing its original lamb flavour. When you have Indian curry, you should always have nan, an Indian style plain pizza. You may dip the whole thing into curry. You may put the thick paste with lamb in the middle of the nan and form a small pocket to serve. You may also just sever the nan into pieces, mix them with curry and eat them like baby food. I prefer the dipping style. The curry is spicy but not chilli, which gives you a sensation of heat and pain. It only gives you a heat sensation. You may sweat a bit but your stomach will be wide open to wait for more curry in nan. Veggie & potato pocket is a traditional Indian appetizer. It has a golden crispy surface with potato mash, peas and beans inside. It is nice to fill up your tummy during tea time. It may be a bit too heavy for appetizing. Green salad , therefore, is a neutralizer of this heavy small appetizer. Salad would be very plain for cannibal without any sauce. This green salad is served with Masala sauce. Of course, I don't know what masala sauce is. It may be their trade secret. But appropriate amount of masala gives colours to plain veggies. Laksi is basically sour milk added with fruits in cubes. Again it may be too heavy to have it during hot summer when one doesn't feel like eating. However, it may be a good diet breakie with laksi only.
The total cost was just $212. Definitely, I would like to go there again soon. It is a small new restaurant in Sheung Wan. As K said, we should give supports to those restaurants serving delicious food.
