今日食左間應該都算正宗既印度菜，事關無論樓面水吧同廚房都係印度人，一入餐廳已經聞到陣食物咖哩味。一個set有湯、主菜、印度薄餅、白飯同埋飲品，大部份都係只需要$60就有齊晒成set，仲要唔駛加一，真係好抵！如果好似我咁唔食得辣，平時食譚仔都只可以食清湯嘅，都其實唔怕，因為唔辣，佢係好香嘅味道。食印度菜其實主要都係食個汁去點印度薄餅，薄餅如果可以再做好啲就希望可以再熱d同埋脆d, 有飯有薄餅一定飽！另外餐飲嗌咗杯凍檸茶，個茶係有啲特別，有少少桃味。餐廳個環境佈置都好簡單，同埋有少少焗，冷氣唔夠，如果夏天去嘅話應該都真係會幾熱！

今日同同事黎食 大家都叫左lunch set我叫左個chicken tikka masala 首先送餐湯胡椒粉味好重 由於太肚餓 飲曬之後有一塊薄餅 兩塊厚餅very nice薄既夠脆 厚既 厚得黎唔硬 好好食碟肉 雞好軟 醬汁好夠味再送一碟仔飯 可惜個飯煮得唔好。有d痴埋一夠 食唔到個凍檸茶好淡好淡成set 68嫌貴可以食curry 60都有 好抵食 係飽既

今日午餐，我和友人去了試印度咖喱，老闆係正宗印度人，餐廳的佈置滿有印度的裝飾和氣味，餐廳內播着印度的歌曲令人感到放鬆，宛如置身在印度。首先服務員給我來一碗湯，湯味道適中，然后我叫左香滑椰汁咖喱魚，好好味，椰汁很濃烈，咖喱不辣，很地道，魚煎得很入味，不油膩但略點鹹。至於服務員係老闆娘，她很有禮貌用英文介紹菜式，感覺很舒服和好親切，她介紹我們吃午餐，午餐裡有薄餅，卜卜脆，熱呼呼，很新鮮出爐，黏上咖喱係佳配搭。飯前湯薄餅香滑椰汁咖喱魚

Ordered the lunch set, and the curry is the worst curry I have ever had. Chicken was rubbery and had no flavor at all, while the curry is an insult to all Currys. Granted it is cheap for Sheung Wan but even if they sold the set at hk$20 I wouldn't recommend it. Very disappointing experience.

Ex-pats (myself included) tend to breed mediocrity in a city such as Hong Kong which lends itself to transient diners that lack the tenacity and standards that many food enlightened cities exhibit. Simply put: most patrons of restaurants such as Masala simply aren't invested in the city enough to vote with their wallets. Sub-par food is accepted because it's the path of least resistance. I have tried their vegetarian menu (I am vegetarian, most of the time...) and I find their food to be very tastey and packed with flavours. Their different curry goes well with their rice. The mango lassi is also a good combination with the curry. For $68, you get an appetizer, naan bread, rice and a curry. A very good deal for the amount of food you get.

上環區美食眾多, 每間都試下, 而印度菜可以話係一個好選擇。12點幾既時候人唔算多, 都仲可以揀到個位坐。入到去, 老闆娘好親切咁介紹是日午餐。款式好多, 有飯有薄餅, 一次過滿足兩個願望 個咖哩冇想像中咁辣, 帶點點甜 GOOD , 個湯應該係豆湯, 比較辣D薄餅配咖哩係好夾既, 配飯都唔差 環境係舒服既, 完全唔似係香港 HAHA

本人向來不愛韓潮，一心打算再嚐Jolibee炸雞以抗衡韓式炸雞熱潮，可惜該處坐無虛設，完全找不著兩個相連空座。結果，走著看著，來到舊公司對面街。舊日，只有很短時間吃午飯，經常趕忙的在附近看看何處有位子便吃，要不就去新太陽吃快餐，都沒甚留意到這。站在店外察看餐牌，老闆娘面帶笑容前來歡迎，於是便進店。店內大約二十座位，客人本來只有一位母親帶著數個小伙子，後來來了印巴人士。還未下單，老闆娘經已先端出兩碗綠湯來，感覺親切。綠湯原來是雜菜湯，似乎有西蘭花在內卻未找到任何菜絲，瓜絲，花絲。墨綠色的湯，帶有適度的鹽味，微微的蔬菜味，味道咸得清新吧。Lamb keema 這個免治羊肉，混了青豆，洋荵。羊肉小口小口吃，沒太濃郁羊味羶味，吃多兩口，羊味更濃；羊肉用來拌naan bread太碎，很容易散落四處，較難進食；拌一點碎飯，感覺羊肉更香更濃。這味只有少許辣味，頗適合香港人口味。Chicken Tandoori相信就是平日時常看見的橙色雞，可惜這兒的較乾。即使雞肉不算鞋，也恐怕太乾了，乾得一絲絲的模樣。如果是較鮮的雞，再以鐵板上菜，配上"芝咋"聲響，定會更美味吧。這味則較辣，辣得來沒肉汁，雞乾得像絲，

6 月 30 日 (密雲，有驟雨).長週末前的晚上，冇局，兩人原想到上環生記食粥、清湯腩、粗丸，但行經孖沙街見這印度館子，停下看看，印藉老板立即出來打招呼，推門請進，很久冇食印菜了，why not ? 就此改變主意，試試吧！地方尚算乾淨，大概只有 10 個客左右，不太嘈吵，亦不逼夾，空氣散著 typical indian restaurant 的香料味，整体環境 ok.店內有兩位印藉侍應 (or 老板)，招倈、落單、上菜、水吧、收枱、結賬，一腳踢，相互照應，很有默契，我們進食期間，亦不時問問 "Everything's okay?"，服務比預期好給我們的晚市 menu 有 a la carte 亦有套餐，套餐 包 soup, salad, mains, naan & rice，我們点了 2 個 sets share。先上的是soup of the day, 今天是 cream of broccoli，用碗上枱，看來怪怪的，喝一口只是微暖，印象不好，但味道卻不錯，很滑、很 creamy，亦有不少 broccoli 在內，都算 ok lal.以我所知，印不吃牛，回不吃豬，此店冇牛亦冇豬，

嗰晚唔想行咁遠食飯，就去了上環睇下有咩食，因為唔想食CHINESE，見到哩間就入去啦。It's a relatively a small and closey restaurant, wall decor in orange and white, felt very 'home feel'. There's about 5-6 tables there. I am blogging this right after my meal at Masala. This is considerably surprising, since I have a whole string of unblogged gastronomical encounters over the past few weeks. 本來係來呢度食焗飯的，但點知冇開，就試下呢間印度野。我地一坐得就有脆薄餅食，點ｄ薄荷汁幾好味。朋友話呢ｄ野好難整架喎，但我地唔駛一分鐘就食晒。我地叫左一個咖哩魚同一個masala羊肉。由於我唔係好食得辣所以幾佢少辣，但點知係走辣，對食得辣的朋友真係唔好意思。佢呢個set就包一碗蘿蔔湯，都幾好味的，有咖哩，有飯，有naan，食完都飽到上喉嚨，仲加左錢飲賣飛佛mango lassi。本來要加我25蚊的，但老細見我地飲兩杯就減到２０蚊，食飯都有價講，唔錯。呢度入夜有好多印度鄉里來食，又可以睇bollywood mv，環境都幾好。

Dinner Set真係好豐富呀其實有齊沙律，咖哩角，香草烤雞雖然D雞係有D「硬淨」Naan bread 香蔥同原味，其實都係原味同各款咖哩最配！另外要左茄瓜同椰汁咖哩羊肉。茄瓜味道偏甜唔會濟，羊肉味道又濃又夠淋，好好食！老闆娘真係好好人，見我地幫碗湯影相，仲問我地要唔要俾隻碟我地配返好睇Ｄ！然後全程亦服務周到，好親切！埋單唔貴，坐得又舒服，一定要再泥！=D

I went to Masala with a friend for lunch. We arrived at about 12:15pm and immediately got a table.The set lunch was good value, from about $48-$65, depending on your choice. For this we got a pumpkin with ginger soup, a main course and a drink. I choose a lamb masala and my friend chose a chicken tikka masala (I can't exactly remember what he chose, but it was a chicken dish). These main dishes came with small portion of rice, a typical "green" salad and half a roti. The main course was rea
