It was our 1000 day anniversary. Carpaccio Piemontese $288
The carpaccio was very fresh and rich in seasoning. The truffle oil added was just the right amount, bringing out a rich scent and taste without eliminating the carpaccio’s natural taste. The portion was just enough to be shared among two.

Spicy Rigatoni Vodka
This dish was what i keep hearing my friends talk about, and finally had the chance to give it a try. For starts, IT WAS SOOO GOOD! The rigatoni texture gave abit of chewiness without being too hard and chewy, yet not soft. For this dish its not that spicy, yet it does sting a tiny bit after each bite. You can literally taste the vodka in it. The portion was an enjoyable portion. Definitely recommend you try it out if you plan on going to Carbone.

Sirloin Diana
The Sirloin Diana i had was done as medium rare. The steak itself was juicy and rich in flavor. Supposedly the sauce was somewhat a more chinese twist of oyster sauce, not my most favourable sauce but yet still okay. The shrooms on the top yet soaks too much of the sauce and gets a bit too salty. Overall, its a good dish.

NY Lemon Cheesecake
The Lemon Cheesecake was what i longed for. Its super delicious. The portions of the lemon sauce, cheesecake and its crust are at the best ratio it can be in. Each bite starts off with a sweet and sour kind of taste from the lemon sauce, followed by the NY cheesecake flavor. The lemon sauce helps open up more of your appetite to fill in yet one more bite. The cheesecake is rich yet not too heavy, mixes well with the lemon flavor. The crust is one i need to comment on. Usually when i come across a cheesecake crust its either really hard where u have to use bit of force to break it with ur fork, or its really soggy and its just everywhere. But the chrust for this bad-boy, was insanely perfect. I could slide my fork from top to bottom and cut out a piece without putting in effort, yet the crust remains really crispy and tender. A definite recommend.
Carbone had excellent customer service and the environment was really good. Although you would possibly hear like 6-7 times of the staff singing happy birthday to different tables, but its a happy experience.
Definitely give it a try for your next occasion to celebrate
