Inspired by the renowned Lake Yamanaka 山中湖 in Mt Fuji, the name Kacho Fugetsu 华鸟花月, refers to the beauty of the lake with flower, bird, wind and moon.The venue set over two levels, is connected by an internal staircase. The Omakase lunch came with the cold dish, miso soup and a steamed chawanmushi.

Sashimi

Two kinds of sashimi, salmon and shirako. The salmon was fresh while the shirako was creamy and has that silky smooth consistency. For a little flavour boost, served with the ponzu sauce which added that extra zesty kick to elevate the taste.

Sushi

6 kinds of nigiri sushi - Hotate, hamachi, Akami, Kinmedai, Sanma and Botan Ebi. All the sushi were straightforwardly delicious, each ingredients extrudes a unique flavour and textural different. The Akami and hamachi were rich yet carried a smooth texture, while the hotate and botan ebi had the light and natural sweet flavour.
