I had dinner at this restaurant 2 years ago with my friends and food was perfectly alright. I saw there was an online dining platform offer so i booked this place for mother’s day.When i arrived the restaurant the waitress had no clue what the online dining platform booking was and when i finally sat down there was no one served me tea or gave me menu until i followed up with them . When i arrived the restaurant the waitress had no clue what the online dining platform booking was and when i finally sat down there was no one served me tea or gave me menu until i followed up with them . What surprised me was... the waitress and waiter however proactively served other guests with tea and menu soon after they arrived.
When we were placing the order, the waiter kept talking to the restaurant manager and stopped my ordering for more than 3 times. After i placed the order i asked the waiter to repeat what were the items and he only confirmed with me L3, A3, B2 etc.How can the customers remember all these letters that represent the dishes? I then have to cross check the items on my own ( the waiter was mad at me when i asked him how could i remember these letters and numbers?)and told them i need L3 not L5 i need 鹅片. 2 mins later he came back and asked me 你要鹅片right?
Food finally arrived... food quality overall was below average...
蚝饼煎到好黑(叫咗两次都系咁)
蚝仔肉碎粥无味
鹅片豆腐无味肉有d鞋
梅花骨肉同sauce分开
只有
上汤菜同梅菜扣肉(d扣肉好瘦)叫正常d
Ordered 绿豆爽 but followed three times it still didnt come , the waitress end up said there were many orders ... so we asked for cancellation...
When the bill came ... the online dining platform discount was not offered so i asked the lady to talk to the restaurant manager... after 10 mins the bill came with the online dining platform discount but the % discount was not applied to all items.. so i asked them to check again... after another 10 minutes they came and said they made a mistake and this time finally i got the correct bill.
To conclude, this was an awful experience with bad food bad service and honestly speaking they don’t deserve to get any service fee. If they dont have the resources and manpower to serve all the in-house customers and if they expect it’s a full house tonight... they should not keep preparing and packing for online dining platform and delivery orders in the meantime.
Those positive comments given to this place on openrice probably are either fake or the diners were not sure what the standards to judge a good eatery are or the standard of running the place has been significantly dropped..
Won’t come back again and they need to do much more to maintain competitiveness and survive amid this coronavirus crisis..
If you are a foodie and know what good food
means then don’t come , otherwise you will be disappointed.
