Ordered: Small Froyo (1 free topping) - Original flavour with strawberries
Taste: first thing that came to my mind was " hmmmm...... this is the most sour froyo i have tasted so far..." which was acually very nice. as other Froyo has become less sour and more sweet. But as we all know, yogurt is meant to be sour. it was not sour to point where youcant bear it, it is more of a 'yakult' sour level. i loved it. i love how ICE COLD it was too, it was hardly melting even to when i finished it. The texture is not those smooth creamy yogurt, it was more of a thick dense Froyo. it was NOT creamy like some other froyo which reminds you of eating ice cream like Smooch, but it did remind me of sorbet, how ice cold but bursting with flavours.
The strawberries somehow tasted real good. i am guessing they did something to strawberries beforehand as it did not seem to be plain fresh strawberries. maybe they have been soaked in syrup? I have no idea but the strawberries tasted so good, especially with the Froyo. She gave us generous amount of strawberries, but for 30hk dollars it was a pretty small pot. i mean Froyo out there is averagely 28 hk dollars for a small pot. But then again, at that location in central, I guess that is why it is so expensive.
Service: A young Philippine girl served us. She did not seem very enthusiastic at all. when we came in, she stood up and looked very miserable as she waited for me to order. Looked quite impatient. But atleast she was not rude.
Conclusion: It is abit more expensive than all the other froyo i have tasted, but i guess it is worth it. it is ice cold, with a dense texture, sour and with magical strawberries. after i finished my froyo i wished i ordered the Large version. i wanted more. The shop is located very near Smooch. smooch has no seats, so if you are in for a chat and to chill, BerryGood is the place to go. with some seats and round tables with aircon. Nice white interior. I would return and probably at their other branch. I know LCX has their other branch!!!
Dont get mixed up with BESTBERRY and BERRYGOOD... two diff taste! Bestberry is more milky and less sour!
