After eating the millefeuille in Kingston shop, I wanna try the other desserts by agnes b.This time I ordered 11 cakes:1. Chocolate Truffle Cake: very smooth and rich chocolate taste. Not bitter but a bit sweet. 2. Hazelnut cake: I like the outer part which cover with hazelnut! However though there were several layers, the hazelnut taste within the cake was not strong. This time I ordered 11 cakes:
1. Chocolate Truffle Cake: very smooth and rich chocolate taste. Not bitter but a bit sweet.
2. Hazelnut cake: I like the outer part which cover with hazelnut! However though there were several layers, the hazelnut taste within the cake was not strong. A bit disappointed as I like eating hazelnut cake.
3. St honore: Traditional wedding cake in France. The puff matched perfectly with the chocolate. Not too sweet as it appears to be.
4. Amour: white and dark chocolate mix together. According to the waitress, this cake was new arrival. Several layers amazed me and the whole cake was very soft and light.
5: Banana mousse cake: There were several layers, including a sweet banana and the bottom part was made of banana sponge cake. Good~~~
6: Blueberry tartlet: I like the bottom part most which made of sweet custard and the pastry was very crispy.
7. Strawberry tartlet: The custard under the strawberry was yummy.
8: Lemon tartlet: Very rich lemon taste but a bit too sweet. The tart was still crispy when I ate at night.
9: Mont blanc: A good try. Outer chestnut was very smooth and the inside chestnut mousse taste wonderful! Overall heavy chestnut taste.
10: Fruit cheese cake: This cheese cake suited me! Not very heavy cheese taste and it gives me a very fresh feeling. GOOD~~~
11: Chocolate mousse cake: Quite normal, except the bottom part which was crispy.
Very full after eating all these cakes, though shared by 4 ppl~~~Very satisfied!!! Haha need to do more gym and sleep late~
