I am a sucker for breakfast toasts, so when I found out about Apt. Coffee, it was only natural to come check out their customized toasts!There were two kinds of bread and spread: sourdough and fig & walnut; beetroot hummus and lemon cream cheese. After minutes of contemplating, I finally decided to have smoked salmon, avocado, poached egg, and asparagus on my toasts.
The toasts came out beautifully. The ingredients were nothing too fancy, but I loved how fresh they were and the appealing colors! It is very true we eat with our eyes first and the kitchen staff did a great job on the presentation. As for the taste, both types of bread were good and I really enjoyed the tangy, appetizing lemon cream cheese spread. The side salad of roasted pumpkin and golden beetroot was refreshing and delightful.
My friend and I left happy and feeling nourished after having such wholesome, delicious toasts. I will be back to check out their coffee as well!
