Came for farewell lunch with my UK friend the other day and the food was great, I’d definitely come back for the sashimi again.Set Lunch: Sashimi Don with Cold Soba- Every piece of sashimi was freshly chosen, the uni was sweet and tasteful, the fish cod roe was crisp, the scallops were soft and fresh, and the rest; salmon, crabmeat, shrimp were all fresh and bright in color. There was almost too much seafood on top that there wasn’t enough rice on the bottom to eat it with! As for the soba, it tasted plain but full of original buckwheat flavor and I actually liked it. The texture was soft and chewy, not soggy at all even after soaking in a bowl of Japanese noodle sauce. Reasonable price for such good quality and quantity~
The set came with a salad appetizer, crabmeat and cucumber salad- Light and fresh, creamy and crunchy texture. Thumbs up for this.
For desserts we had a scoop of sesame ice cream each in order to finish off this wonderful lunch set.
Give it an overall score of 4/5, well deserved.
