Deceptive in location with simple modern design and big windows, the upstairs restaurant may look ordinary and nothing special but their food is more fancy and refined than expected. Excellent presentation too. What an enjoyable French dining experience! We came here for my mom's birthday lunch on a Sunday afternoon. 🥳🎉 I booked it just a few days prior after seeing some glowing reviews. There was 3 courses (HK$288) or 4 courses (HK$318) lunch sets. The extra course was Daily Soup (tomato soup that day).
First greeted with Amuse Bouche, it was either a Prawn Jelly or Sea Urchin Jelly (if order the Sea Urchin Royale for appetizer). They were both OK but nothing outstanding. Least favorite from the entire meal, maybe because I'm not a fan of chilled savory jelly.

For appetizers, there were 3 options and it was an easy choice for us to just order different ones to try.
King Fish Carpaccio 🐟 with salmon roe, citrus salsa and orange reduction sauce was very refreshing It was light and flavorful, easy on every bite.
Sea Urchin Royale (with an upgrade of extra HK$88) was very umami with miso brioche, salmon roe and fennel foam. It was perfect for uni lovers!
My favorite starter was Kataifi Prawn 🦐 with bell pepper chutney, lemongrass cappuccino and caviar. It was crispy and well-balanced with the tasty sauce. Not feeling oily at all.

Their Tomato soup with bacon bites was very delicious. Not too thick or acidic with just the right amount of seasoning. The staff brought out a gigantic pepper grinder too for additional flavoring!

All of us added their Signature Dish (HK$ 188) which was 42 Degrees Fresh Smoked Salmon with smoked caviar, apple and horseradish pearls, yogurt and beetroot puree. It was quite theatrical to watch!Strong smoked flavor after-taste in the mouth Very unique.

For mains, we ordered Suckling Pig 🐖with pork croquette, green apple puree and mustard cream sauce, USDA Beef Short Rib🥩 with baked cauliflower, black garlic puree and seasonal vegetables and Fish of the Day 🐟.
The skin of the Amadai fish and Suckling Pig were very crispy and cooked to perfection together with the delightful sauce. We cleared both places very quickly. The Beef Short Ribs were tender and juicy with a stronger and thicker sauce.

Then came desserts to conclude our big meal, which was chocolate cake and vanilla meringue tart. Their desserts were mediocre. A little bland. Could be improved!
There was also tea and coffee with the lunch set. We were too full that we couldn't even eat the birthday cake 🎂 and brought it home instead. All of the dishes looked spectacularVery fine-dining sort of plating. Good portion size as well.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very polite with attentive to serving their customers. They also waived our corkage fee for ordering a bottle of water, which was agreed previously. Thank you!! 🙏🏻
Overall, a lovely experience for semi-fine dining at an excellent value! Could work on their amuse bouche and desserts. Worth to try for sure Will come back!
Lunch for 3 people was: HK$ 1,492.
