Very odd to be seated and then to be told to go to the cashier to order and pay for our food before resitting to wait for food.Never had Nasi Lemak served with pork before since this dish is traditionally a Malay (Muslim) dish but this time, it came with pork floss! Totally turned me off since I don't eat pork. Nasi Lemak had an unnatural grass-green colored rice without any coconut milk taste but with also an unnatural flavouring taste. No fresh cucumber slices but instead had pickled carrot (
Never had Nasi Lemak served with pork before since this dish is traditionally a Malay (Muslim) dish but this time, it came with pork floss! Totally turned me off since I don't eat pork. Nasi Lemak had an unnatural grass-green colored rice without any coconut milk taste but with also an unnatural flavouring taste. No fresh cucumber slices but instead had pickled carrot (probably achar). Beef rendang with the Nasi Lemak was nothing more than Chinese style beef stew.
The Nanyang Tea with milk tasted odd almost sour, nothing like Malaysian tea and hubby's kopi was watered down.
That was definitely nothing Malaysian/Singaporean about this experience. Would not recommend to anyone.
