Stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant and decided to have some dimsum for our dinner! Our favourite of our meal was the steamed rice in lotus leaf along with 🐟. Our favourite of our meal was the steamed rice in lotus leaf along with 🐟. The garlic they used made it taste extra flavourful and tasty, easily finishing the whole plate of rice! It also came steaming hot, so that’s always an important aspect of having a tasty meal.
We’re also suckers for any 胡椒猪肚汤 , and this place serves it with chicken and an additional bowl of rice 🤭 the broth was well seasoned, and the pepper taste still came through despite a lot of sour veggies being used! At first, I thought it’d be a bit heavy to have another bowl of rice, but we actually finished it as it went quite well with the soup.
Of course, we had to try the classic dimsum to know if the place is good or not. The siumai was topped with some truffle paste, which matched quite well 😎I appreciate how they didn’t use overly fatty meats, yet the pork flavour still came through. The hargow was also good, skin was chewy and the size of the shrimp was just nice. Their pandan cake was something that we don’t see often in other places - it was an interesting choice!
