I recently visited the Tsuen Wan branch with a friend around 4:30 PM for afternoon tea, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience.
After sitting for about an hour, a staff member informed us that we needed to leave because another booking was scheduled for our table. This turned out to be untrue, as the restaurant was nearly empty, with only three tables occupied, including ours. When I asked if we were being kicked out, the staff member claimed that a customer had booked the booth we were at. My friend suggested we move to one of the other vacant tables, and the staff member went to consult her manager. She returned to tell us we could stay for 15 minutes before needing to move.
A little later, a male staff member came over and told us we had to leave. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant while dining!
On top of that, the food was forgettable, and I believe many other restaurants in the area offer better options. With such poor customer service, I can't help but think this establishment may not last long.
I will not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will certainly think twice before visiting any of your other locations. It’s clear why the place was so empty; it seems the staff prefers to kick customers out rather than provide a welcoming dining experience.
