My breakfast this morning was an orange, a VERY juicy one.Originally I would be having PE lesson in the morning today, but the teacher told us that we would leave at 11:25a.m. And therefore the lesson would be cancelled. Lastly, I revised for my Biology quiz later. That’s additional mathematics lesson then so I again had my lovely free lesson which was a sleeping time for me!After school, I went to lunch at COOK LIGHT CAFÉ. After school, I went to lunch at COOK LIGHT CAFÉ.
Super nice experience for me.
COOK LIGHT CAFÉ is a kind of western vegan restaurant which their shop owner Benard is himself a vegetarian. Their set lunch includes choices of hamburger with salad, curry with brown rice and cream sauce spaghetti for the main course.
I had their HK$62 set lunch, including:
hot herbs carrot soup,
organic spaghetti with mushrooms in black pepper cashew cream sauce,and for the drinks, I added HK$8 for their FAMOUS double hot chocolate, which I ordered them to change the milk to soyamilk.
The soup was sooooooo nice that I could actually bite small pieces of carrot and I found the soup quite spicy which suits me a lot.
The black pepper cashew cream sauce was super creamy and spicy, which in fact not containing any cream. It was actually a blend of cashew nut and mushrooms, which turn out made the whole dish SUPER DELICIOUS. There was three bites of broccoli, three honey beans, one baby corn, purple cabbage shred and mushrooms for the vege part which all were extremely fresh.There came the best part of the whole meal---the money added FAMOUS double hot chocolate.
It was filled with steamed soyamilk, with a layer of foamed milk approximately 12 mm (½ inch) thick on the top, with cocoa powder sprinkled there too. It was soooooo dense and dark in flavor which tasted like they’ve melted 100g of plain dark chocolate bar into it.
So fulfilling and comforting.$70 in total for this set lunch and I left my email for them to mail me their online tea set menu, I found that they have green tea latte ( $24 )! Must try!
