Have heard many good things about isono from my friends so thought i may give it a try during restaurant week...arriving at the restaurant with high expectations but unfortunately leaving with disappointments.my friends and i had the "Octopus with potatoes and mussel ragout" as starter...octopus was not bad but the potatoes were rather bland...not a very appealing dishthen comes the "Spaghetti carbonara with guanciale"..to our surprise the spaghetti was served RAW so we requested the waiter to b

then comes the "Spaghetti carbonara with guanciale"..to our surprise the spaghetti was served RAW so we requested the waiter to bring it back to the kitchen for remaking...it came back a little harder than al dente but we still accepted it...yet the carbonara sauce was rather thick and filling so i only finished half of it..
i picked "Char-grilled bluefin tuna cheek with Iberian chorizo & marmitako sauce" for my main course...the tune cheek was quite tender and the taste was quite good but i didn't really like the potatoes on the side...and the plating was rather poor and unattractive..
my friends went for the "Iberian pork shoulder, roasted potato, guanciale & spring onion" as main course but were not big fans of the dish
last but not least is the "Domori molten chocolate cake with bailey’s ice-cream", which I regret to say is the best dish of the whole night.
I just thought the restaurant would put more effort in impressing its customers during restaurant week, but unfortunately my friends and myself will not visit this restaurant again after tonight's experience.
