Wanted to have a sweet treat and passed by this cake shop in Sogo. Amongst the many other pretty petite cakes, decided to try this Mini Coconut Lime Egg which looked so cute. There were several layers. The outermost layer was a thin coating of crispy white chocolate which was not overly sweet at all. It was followed by the smooth white coconut mousse which had a light flavour of coconut and not overly greasy. At the core. there was some yellow lime mousse which was again not so rich. In the middle, there was a layer of raspberry jelly. The cookie base was unfortunately no longer crunchy when eaten. The sunny side up egg was made of white chocolate too! Overall it was quite delicious and just slightly sweet. Those who love sweet treats but don't want to be overwhelmed by the sugary flavour may want to try this. Price-wise, it cost $59 which was definitely not cheap. But quality of the cake seemed quite good. The rating of 4 but not 5 was due to the no longer crunchy cookie base.
