We enjoyed an excellent meal here. It was our guests' last night in Hong Kong and we chose here as we had eaten a great (set) lunch here a couple of weeks back. It's also very close to the Wan Chai ferry terminal which suited us as we had aperitifs over in Kowloon.We were very happy with the service which was helpful and attentive. Peking duck, recommended by the waiter, was superb. We had the "two course Peking Duck" which consisted of the meat sliced and served with pancakes, spring onions etc
We were very happy with the service which was helpful and attentive. Peking duck, recommended by the waiter, was superb. We had the "two course Peking Duck" which consisted of the meat sliced and served with pancakes, spring onions etc, then the remainder served again later in the meal, chopped and with lettuce leaves to wrap (all lettuce was crisp, green perfect little cups!). We were also persuaded to try the snake soup, a first for us, then fresh fish steamed with ginger, steamed prawns with garlic (superb, very sweet) and crab with black bean. All the seafood was live when we chose it. Every dish was delicious. We had a beer each on arrival, a bottle of red wine with the meal. Bill came to around $700/each. Maybe a bit pricey for some but the food and service were without fault.
