Was craving for some red meat. Googled and found this restaurant called DAY22 STEAK serving up lava rock grill steaks at affordable prices. Popped in after busy lunch hours and luckily they were still open. Ordered two tenderloin, one with plain butter and the other one with garlic butter. Added $58 to upgrade to a set menu.Mega size ice coffee - rich and bitter coffee with smooth milk.Cream Soup with Puff Pastry - flaky and buttery puff pastry. Pasta of the Day - fried spaghetti with Napolitan sauce mixed with king oyster mushrooms.
US Tenderloin - not only the lava rock had been preheated but it was also served on fire. Better to move the meat to the plate first to avoid overcooking. Such a huge piece of steak which was pretty tender.
Mango Pudding - topped with smooth condensed milk. My childhood favorite dessert. Not too sweet and bursting with mango flavor.
The set menu was an incredibly big portion which I bet one person could barely finish all. Highly recommending it for the excellent value!
