Ever since I saw this place on T.V, I 've been wanting to try it! There wasn't really anything that stood out in terms of decor and I didn't notice any problems in their hygiene. The place was busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Service:
Service was prompt and the staff were friendly. My friend and I were in and out in 15 mins!
Taste & Value:
The two of us shared the Satay Beef Bomber ($45) that came with fries and a cup of Earl Grey or English Breakfast tea. The tiny cup of tea was the first to come followed by our burger. The burger was huge! Were we ever glad that we were sharing!
However, the disappointment started after the first bite. The ratio of everything was off and hurt the taste of the burger. I would describe the ratio of the burger as :top of bun- 30%, egg- 15%, beef 10%, Nissin noodles- 15%, bottom of bun- 30%. Overall, it was a combination of things that were bland and flavourless. It would have helped if there was more beef or maybe just even more satay sauce to make it more rich. Then, the fries were nice and crunchy and seemed good at first, but had a weird aftertaste that I can't quite describe. For $45, you got a side, a drink and a burger so I would consider this as a good deal, but there is definitely room for improvement. Final Verdict:
Disappointed.
