Not sure why this restaurant is rated so high in Openrice. Perhaps they pay a lot for PR and marketing. The receptionist was talking over her phone when we first arrived. We stood there for around 5 mins but nobody came to serve us.
The managers (3 male) were impolite. Not sure why they always rush to serve rudely even though there were just a few tables of customers.
They charged us more than we should pay. The manager was shocked and immediately disrespectfully questioned us. For the same price we paid, I prefer going to other restaurants with better services.
The "managers" took orders impatiently too. When we asked, They simply said "姐系你要乜啊" "姐系A啦啊吗". I will only accept this kind of attitude in Cha Chaan Teng but not this so-called Sichuan "Fine-Dining" restaurant.
Untrained waiters and managers
They did not explain menu and the waiters were not familiar with the dishes.
Food quality
The food is just so-so. There are many better restaurants in TST. Quality is inconsistent.
They served their dishes hurriedly and push us to finish asap even though there were really a few tables of clients.
Overall: 1 out of 5
Dont recommend this "fine-dining" Cha Chaan Teng. Dont understand how the management trains their staff and "managers" in particular.
And i finally understand why this is no longer listed on Michellin anymore.
