📍 BâtardProbably one of the most difficult restaurants to book as it still relies on telephone booking! Come on, change it to online booking please! Despite the long wait and difficulty in booking, I am actually quite happy with the meal.

Was lucky enough to try their grilled threadfin as it was the first night on the menu. It was one of the best piece of threadfin that I have had this year. Super crispy skin and the fish was sweet.
Not really a fan of pork pie but this one was good. Love the pastry.
Finally got to try Bâtard's Signature Roast Chicken. As one of the four famous chickens of Hong Kong, I am glad it did not disappoint. The chicken was succulent and flavorful. Love the warm pilaf rice. I love this version way more than Louise tbh.
Finally the desserts, the apple tart uses the same pastry as the burrata tomato tart. Can choose either one. Their baked Madeleines are the best out of the bunch.
Overall, it was a very pleasant meal and I felt the wait is justifiable.
