I am a huge fan of korean bbq and this is by far the most satisfying korean bbq I had ever eaten!! I'd go as far as saying it was the most delicious meal I've eaten of 2012. We went during Sunday evening; there was only 2 of us and we got a table within 5 minutes with a window view which was really nice to sit by the window despite there not really being a view. We went during Sunday evening; there was only 2 of us and we got a table within 5 minutes with a window view which was really nice to sit by the window despite there not really being a view. All customers get complimentary free starters which from the photo you can see is a lot! We didn't know this beforehand but when we tried to order it, the waitress actually told us "Don't worry, you'll get it free so don't order it" - saving us a bit of money !!
Ordered korean dumplings to eat on the side and beef galbi(?) and spicy pork to BBQ. P.S - you do have to order the lettuce/cabbage to wrap your bbq in but it doesn't cost a lot anyway around 70HKD maybe.. I don't remember for sure so don't take my word for it!! Also, the sauce that comes with the veg is DIVINE !!
The lettuce/cabbages are to the bottom left of the photo and the sauce to its right. Only thing I didn't like was that they gave you Spinach (?) not sure what it is but this particular type of leaf had a very strong taste!! and definitely not to my taste!Galbi beef (something like that) and the spicy pork... The spicy pork was so beautiful. 1000% recommend it.
And the korean dumplings were extremely delicious.. bit greasy but to the right amount of grease ..
Forgive my camera quality - doesn't show the true beauty of the food but I'd definitely recommend this restaurant. Service wasn't anything special but it definitely was not the worst I've experienced in hong kong.Service charge is self included but this is very common, if not everywhere in Hong kong so don't expect to not pay it.
Total cost came to about 700-800HKD. Worth every penny.
题外话/补充资料：
Restaurants a bit hidden in a plaza which is on the corner of a four-way intersection road. When you get to the 6th floor of this place, it's on your right as there is a japanese restaurant in front of you as you leave the lift..
I saw a lot of people ordering takeaways from Han Ah Rum too!
