Finally, today was the last day of my stay in HK!! As I have not had some real HK style tea set for ages, my very kind mum bought me to Super Super Congee & Noodles (一粥面) today to have some really nice local food.

The restaurant was much bigger than I thought. Although I had never been to this shop, I could tell that this shop definitely provide good food because there were a lot of customers and the queue never became shorter.

Although the service was not good at all as the lady was not patient to listen to my orders which I had to repeat myself for 5 times until my order was totally correct.

Back to the food, I ordered a set that contains a bowl of corn and pork congee with pork chop bread and a cheungfan with Youtiao in it!! The congee was quite smooth and soft and was a type of Cantonese congee. I thought the pork was quite tough and chewy which I really hated and there was way too little ingredients maybe because the shop wanted to minimise the cost. Not so good~~

For the pork chop bread, I think it was really delicious as the pork chop itself was perfectly grilled with a lot of mayonnaise in it. Also the bread itself was also baked marvellously was a very crispy surface and sesame that gave out some appealing smell. There was also some butter widely spread in the bread which overall gave a really fantastic crunchy taste with the fresh vegetables!! Highly recommended!!

Lastly, the look of the cheungfan was extremely attractive because there was a lot of sauce on it including some sesame. I really love the fact that there was a self-served corner in the shop where I could add more sauce if I want. Despite the fact that the Youtiao(chinese donut) was not crispy at all, the cheungfan was freshly steamed and have a good moisture as well as some strong taste of rice!! Recommended as well~~
