I have walked past this joint couple times, and today I made a mistake and decided to give it a try.I ordered the Le Bartholomé (medium rare) with fries and lemonade which costs $175. I figured that the burger is going to taste awesome with this price.When I got my plate, some of the fries looked burnt, I tried them right away and it was surprisingly soggy. When I got my plate, some of the fries looked burnt, I tried them right away and it was surprisingly soggy. So I decided to go to my burger, the bun-patty ratio is pretty horrible, you have to lift the bun to see the patty, bacons, cheese and the herbs. The taste itself is unbelievably sweet and overwhelming, I reckon that it came from the bbq sauce, I CANNOT taste the meat at all.
There are tons of area for improvement
1. Larger patty
2. Easy on the sauce
3. Better bun-patty ratio
4. Better Fries
I probably won't return and stick with butchers club, they have way better burger and fries.
