I've walked by this small eatery every time I'm by Wing Lok Street, and FINALLY made my way in to Freshlodge! The restaurant is quite small and simple. The lunch set was really cheap! A Scottish smoked salad AND a daily soup....only to find out why for the really low price later onI went with the Hairy crab roe congee lunch set at $88! SO CHEAP.Soft bun bread! Figs & Crab Meat Salad $78, which was a MUCH better salad. Nothing impressive, but a lot bigger and better than my starter!
Hairy Crab Roe Congee...part of my lunch set. Again, nothing too spectacular. But something nice, calming and comforting. The food itself is just alright, but sometimes once in a while- simple congee like this does the trick.
