Genereal:I saw this place many times and wanted to try their dumplings for a while. Finally today I went there and ordered 10 fried dumplings (around 50 HKD), sesame sauce noodles (ca. 36 HKD) and some spicy mixed cucumber (ca. 16 HKD). Eventhough it is a Saturday night I did not have to wait for a seat and it was not very busy. The food was served quick and I had a positive impression of the decoration and hygiene.
Food:
Spicy mixed cucumber was a small side dish and very yummy. It came with a lot of garlic and a very nice sauce and I enjoyed every bite of it. TBH it was not spicy to me at all but I do not feel disappointed. For me a must have for only around 16 HKD.
Sesame noodles with cucumber was not really my favourite... it was OK but the taste did not amaze me. Probably it would be nicer with some cold chicken shreds... Will not have this again but it was only around 36 HKD anyways.
Dumplings: I took 10 fried pork, chive and shrimp dumplings. They tasted nice and even better after I dipped them in soy sauce and chili sauce. I noticed that the fried dumpling wrapper tasted salty even before I dipped it in the soy sauce. I will come back for more. Costed around 50 HKD.
Recommendation:
It is a nice place to have a quick meal, especially when you are craving dumplings. I especially liked that these were self made dumplings and not some industrially produced mass ware that you get in other places.
题外话/补充资料：
They have a take away menu and lunch sets. The menu is strongly focussed on northern Chinese (Shandong) style food.
