I called the same day and foolishly tried to make a reservation.  Nothing available.  But the lady said that I could come after 3, and no reservation was needed.  FYI, this is not true.  I don't know why she told me that.  So we arrived at the front, and though people saw us, nobody greeted us until iike 10 seconds later.  Perhaps this is because they are new, but I think it's pretty ridiculous when you walk in and people just ignore you.  The whole operation just felt unprofessional.  Then the

What about the food?  We ordered two appertizers, the carpaccio with truffles and potted brisket.

The carpaccio was fresh, and the thin sliced truffle pieces were very flavorful.   A bit too flavorful even, but it was a good balance.  Not going to complain about truffles.  The potted brisket kinda tasted like tuna.  I'm not sure how they did it, but mostly it was the sauce.  The pickled onions and cucumbers were great.  I still liked it even though they made the brisket taste like tuna with mayo.  

On to the entrees, I got the Dingley Pork Chop, and my wife got the burger.

She went medium rare, which I thought was kinda risky, but it came out pretty good.  At some points I felt like I was eating raw meat, but it was fresh enough that it still tasted good.  I was surprised.  But honestly it was more like raw than medium rare.  The sauce added a little spice to it too, which was nice.  The pork chop was very tender.  They didn't ask me how I liked it, but oh well.  It was well done but still juicy.  A tiny bit pink.  Then we had the english style pudding for dessert, which was very tasty, very sweet, and went well with a cup of latte.

The latte (I think Italians would be like WTH why are you drinking a Latte after dinner, or I guess ever), didn't have any decorative coffee art, and wasn't very rich.  Not the best latte, but it's a bar restaurant, so I can't expect too much right?  

The server who helped us was friendly, but wasn't very well trained.  When placing the place setting, she tried to reach around us, when a simply excuse me would have been better.  They were also hard to get.  Many of them walking around, but I guess they were busy doing other things.  When her shift ended, she also didn't hand off our table to another server.  I think this is indicative of a newly opened restaurant, so I'm not leaving a permanent mark, but it did dampen my experience somewhat.  Leaving was also a little awkward, as the door and the hostess/hostman podium is quite distant, and he didn't notice us when we were leaving until we opened the door.  Nothing catastrophical.  I'd still go back again to see how they have improved.  The food is still a good value by the way.  All that food cost less than 1000 HKD.  It's a deal in HK.  
题外话/补充资料: The restaurant is in that staircase below LKF hotel. Easiest is to walk up LKF and as you turn slight left, there is a staircase that goes up. It's right on the first level.
