Run by the group behind Birdie, Tempura Araki, Azito, 298 Nikuya Room, this new gyoza joint in Central has quickly garnered popularity. Tiny shop. Around 10 counter seats and 5 small tables. The wait wasn’t too long on the day of my visit as it was a Saturday and close to 2pm. Great vibe. Playing old Japanese favourites in the 80s. Reviewed some of the previous commentaries and aimed to have their dumpling set that comes with a Dandan noodle. Too bad that I can’t have their more interesting daily special dumplings (takoyaki flavour) as they need to be ordered a la carte. Maybe next time.
The original gyoza comprised of cabbage and chives were pan fried to perfection. The exterior was crispy golden and the interior was juicy.
