Poached fish in white marinade soup was made for winter. Our pick of fish was a tender and meaty pomfret. The soup was sweet, peppery and savoury, apart from the white marinade, there were longan, celery, carrots and ginger. The fish soup was served with crunchy lettuce, rice and a drink.
Nanyang curry trio dinner set was satiating. The curry was very delicious, cooked with tender and flavourful braised beef briskets, soft beef tendons, potatoes and chicken steaks (replacing fish fillet tonight). Curry is the best friend of rice, and the set included also a soup, a drink of choice, and a seasonal dessert: sweet potato & ginger sweet soup! Warmth guaranteed!
